Royal Caramel, Special Queen, Royal Purple Kush & Super Silver Haze grow

K so here's the new grow and here's some details any insight or suggestions using any of this stuff will be invited as this will be my first time using a lot of the different nutrients and mediums i deicided to go with cause i wanted to switch things up and experiment some so i welcome all comments n suggestions.....


Genetics:
Royal queen seeds- Royal Caramel and Special Queen
Some seeds from a friend- Royal Purple Kush and Super Silver Haze

Nutrient line i am using is Humboldts Own line

seeds will be germinated indoors grown for about a month, at that point im gonna clone the royal queen seeds strains and the rest will go str8 to flowering and the clones will be vegged for sometime before going outdoors in smart pots and root pouchs filled with botanicare coco

two royal purple kush seedlings already sprouting the other 4 have tap roots but havent broke the surface yet these seeds ive grown for 2 season already and are really fertile i love em and got a lot for free they turned out awesome the last 2 grows so one more time again it is



this is the royal caramel and special queen from royal queen seeds i only got one of each cause i won these in a contest but hopefully they both germinate well and i can get some good clones off of them cause i hear great things about there genetics and these strains



some super silver haze seeds my boy ordered and we tried them out last season and he got 1 female out of a whole bunch of males so i figured id give them a try this time around before we scrap the seeds but i think he got scammed from this one website that i dont know the name of off the top of my head ill get the info for you guys later tho. but the seeds were really small and not too healthy looking but hopefully i can get one good female and clone her some.

 

jus a quick question for any readers passing by my thread:


I usually germinate on a tray made for rock wool that keeps the rock wool up out of the water but ive seem to have misplaced it will it harm the plants if i keep a lil water in the tray its in now basically how it looks in those pics or should i dry it up and jus keep the rock wool as wet as i can with out too much over flow???

 

this is my second time ever using the rockwool the first time was to long ago to remember anything tho and i hear that after they sprout some u should keep it so that when u squeeze it theres barely any water that comes out of it and that will make the roots start growing the lil hairs which are a sign or healthy roots

 

i usually use a lil tray to keep what im germinating in out of the water on the bottom but i cant find my tray :'(

 

i do have a humidity dome it was off for the pics plus ive been leaving it off so some of the water can evaporate will i have the heat matt on

lowered my water level today and got everything not sitting in much water ima start cyclen everything from wet to dry back to wet at this point

sorry guys i wanna try to post daily but not very practical but today i did somethings with the grow so i felt a update was necessary so here it goes......


transplanted the royal caramel and the special queen #1 into one gallon smart pots filled with botanicare coco coir and i transplanted one of the royal purple kushs into a regular 1gal pot filled with coco coir...... a quick side not my friend harvested some shit today that smelt like something i never smelled before and i dont even know how to describe it but it was like a mix between a sweet weed smell with a hint of the smell yoou get right after u cut ur lawn that smell it was kinda weird and unpleasant (those are outdoors)
