Vape with a chest infection

Discussion in 'Vaporizers' started by thebloodyhippy, Dec 10, 2012.

  1. Ok so I just got back from the docs diagnosed with a chest infection, am I OK to vape?

This guy has really shit me up, said for 24 I sound real bad and wants me back in a week to see how I am AFTER the infection.

Now I smoke joints with tobacco every day and have told him for the week I won't.

Will vaping cause any additional irritation? I know vaping is the clean way but with me being sick already I don't want to fuck about as I would really love to go back to the joints.

    Any replies appreciated

Sounds like now's the time for a good t-break, which is something that we ALL should do every once in awhile.

  3. Yea man I wouldn't risk it. If its only gonna be a week or so just take a break. Once it's over get faced with a full vape haha

  4. A t-break won't hurt, but I can't see any reason why vaping would either.

  5. Just a update (for anyone who cares).

I've been vaping since I left my original post (probably why it's took me so long to reply) but yeah it's had no nasty effects at all I've actually felt better after vaping.
When coughing - the cough has felt a lot more loose and my head doesn't feel like it's about to burst.

  6. Just stay away from the spliffs after the Infection.

  7. That I can't do, whilst I'm really enjoying my time on the vape I just want to blow some smoke.
Not just smoke, the whole process of building and rolling a joint then sitting down for a good 30 minutes with it.... greatly missed.

But I will be taking regular breaks in the future, switching between them.

  8. that's the only reason i can't convice a lot of my friends to vape, they just say they are just too used to rolling. All they (or you) need is a different mindset. Got my first vape and never looked back. Sure, i still combust occasionally, but only when i have no other options. My health, wallet and stealth are more dear to me than rolling a j.

  9. Rolling is fine, just try and stay away from the tobacco. You're counteracting the positives of weed with the negatives of tobacco

  10. I wouldn't do it. Contrary to what everyone believes, vaping isn't completely clean. You still get tar and shit in your lungs. Don't believe me? Put a piece of cloth in front of whatever you inhale vape through and look at it after a few hits. Plus, it's still hot air that will damage your lungs. I just wouldn't risk it. Especially if your doctor says you sound "bad for 24". Just give your lungs time to heal.

  11. I bought my vape with every intention of dropping the the tobacco in joints (and joints full stop) but it's too hard.
I was reaching for my skins within 5 minutes of hitting the vape, something was missing.

I've smoked doobies for 8 years every single day, kicking them to the curb is near impossible.

The cross over to pure weed joints never worked for me either, missing that additional buzz.

Anyway this is the vape forum enough about tobacco and smoke!

Thanks for the replies but like I said I vaped pretty much soon after leaving my original post and have felt fine, today I feel nearly all clear :)
