This was my thermometer this morning. This is the coldest I've seen in the 10 or so years I've had a recording thermometer: The national low, including Alaska, was about 100 miles from me in Watertown, NY at -37°.
51 degrees and sunny! Still a good half a foot of snow on the ground, but days like this and the fact that it doesn't get dark til after 6:00 now gives me hope.
It's 7:19 AM here in California and it's pretty cold. 45 degrees. Looks nice out, though. Typical early-morning sunrise and clouds.
