I would like to start of by stating that I am new to forum and to growing. Last month I started to grow indoor and have been wanting to start outdoor growing for a few weeks. I currently live right outside of cincinnati, and we have some pretty cold and snowy winters, I have been reading that you want to get 12/12 and/or 18/6 lighting days in later in the plants cycle to imitate winter, my question is that since i recieve snow during winter how long am i able to grow outside before I am able to stop, are you able to grow during the winter/snow, or do you have to quit and grow only inside. If I am unable to grow during winter that it would be quite too late to start and I want to know when would be the idle time of the year to start growing outside.
