Michigan outdoor medical grow- Afghan Kush and Lemon OG Kush

Discussion in 'Outdoor Grow Journals' started by moab1966, Sep 27, 2012.

  1. Here in Michigan we have a medical marijuana law that allows a patient to grow 12 plants in a "locked enclosed facility"and it doesn't specify that the facility has to be indoors, so I decided to test the law by growing 5 plants (1 Lemon OG Kush and 4 Afghan Kush) in a 10ft by 10ft chain link dog kennel, covered with 8ft tall lexan panels. I have a roof of one inch steel mesh at 6ft, and another 10ft peaked roof of chicken wire that I had to add after they grew through the first roof.
I should have started this journal in the spring because the grow is almost over, but it's turning out so good I had to share.

Killer looking plants man. I like it.

Can you call your lawyer to see if it's legal setup or not? I would hate to see the cops come with there own way of what legal.

Outstanding amazing grow man. If you had more room for them to spread there legs they would be huge from top to bottom. It's a killer grow but you will be losing lots from them being close like that. What I am saying is imagine if each plant had 6 feet room? Regardless what I say your plants and setup looks killer.

    Whats your soil?

  3. hey, i gotta say, out-friggin-standing!!! just a killer job/set-up/plants-just everything!!! how about some details? what's the duct do? very nice work!

  4. Like seeing the driveway alerts as well. Smart move.

  5. Ridiculous! Outstanding job! What strains did you grow?

  6. Oops see it now!

  7. Let me guess? You did not know they would get that big huh? I been there done that in 2009.

  8. Tbitty it's in the title!!!! LOL I do the same thing all the time though.

  9. I've spoke with my lawyer and he says it is legal, although the police may disagree, anyway, I gave him a retainer and he will take the case if needed. I began the grow in April by adding manure, bat guano, peat moss and top soil to the already rich black dirt we have in this area, and after that they were left alone all year except for a little watering and I just gave them some molasses to sweeten em up before I start to harvest in about 10 days.... I didn't expect them to get so big, otherwise I would've only put a couple in there. the Lemon OG in the center would have probably filled the whole area by itself. I plan on taking the tops off, and then letting the shaded parts get some sun for a couple more weeks so that they fill out a little more....I'll post more pics when I start harvesting....

  11. Very nice to see a Med grow going on from the Midwest as I lived there for 28 years and never saw any good laws pass to protect patients or their medicine. Reason I moved to California as I was sick of waiting for them to get their act together out there. Only thing I could see changing about your setup is remove those panels you need much better airflow than that might run into mold issues when it rains. Otherwise very sweet plants and grow altogether.

  12. nice looking plants yummo
