smoking dosage vs. edible dosage

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by JoshuaBr, Sep 14, 2012.

  1. sup guys, i was just wondering how the amount of weed a given person needs to smoke compares to the amount for an edible high, firecrackers for example.

ive heard that for edibles you need twice as much weed than smoking for the same high, is this really accurate? usually when i make firecrackers i just make a guess at how much i will need, but im never quite sure.

  2. It mainly depends on your tolerance, but according to badkitty, the dose for edibles needed is about 0.3grams of weed.

The highs are very different in my opinion. Edibles give you a more relaxed, slower high, in contrast with the almost instant and rush-like high you get from smoking.

Edibles are much more efficient than smoking, if you make them correctly. I always am higher for longer when i've consumed edibles, but the high is different, and more 'clean' and relaxed? But basically, I'm usually high for around 4-6 hours from smoking about a gram, but with one or two 0.3 gram edible I can peak for 4 hours and have an overall high of 8-12 hours :D So in my opinion edibles are better for solo/medical use, but I prefer to smoke with other people because it's more social.. if you know what I mean.
