I think my white widow is ready for a harvest, because I want to yield some with cloudy trichs for the uppity high, and the rest a week or two later when it's amber. First, is there anything more I should do besides chop half the plant? I don't want to effect he results of the remaining buds. Also, I was thinking about trying the 1-1.5 days without light before chopping. Is this going to be effective and is it going to harm the remaining crop that is going to stay for another week or two?
I personally don't agree with the days of darkness before harvest. It probably won't harm it since it's only done once. It seems like turning the lights off for a day or two is more or less a method for people who can't leave their plants alone. You'll find that there's a large group of people who really can't help themselves from fucking with their plants whether they are LSTing, defoliating, or screwing with their light schedules.
