Anyone Have The SSFG Gridded Stemline Hybrid Tube?

  1. I've been looking to get a new piece recently, and I recently came across SSFG and their stemline caught my eye pretty quick. I love the price, and the company seems to have a great reputation. I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this tube and would be willing to share their thoughts on it. Currently I am interested in this piece as well as a SYN beaker with a dome perc. If anyone has any other suggestions for a tube under $160 feel free to leave your suggestions. I am trying to avoid huge monstrous tubes, though -- Tubes under 14" with a single perc are really what I am leaning towards.

  2. For that criteria I would hi up ssfg for sure. For the price its small and very functional. I'm heading to there shop on Monday if you want me to take some pictures for you

  3. email SSFG.
    they will respond very quickly.

i got a response in less than 24 hours regarding the same piece.
they even sent me detailed pictures of the piece because i asked.
like 4 legit huge photos to see the piece better.

    i would recommend SSFG.

  4. I have emailed SSFG and have been very impressed and pleased with their response time. I'm posting the picture of the only stem they have in stock. I don't like this one because I find it to be too small and im also not a huge fan of bent necks. I think I'm leaning towards having them make a 13" straight neck stem for me. I am only concerned about glass thickness, as the bent neck one pictured here is only 2.1 inches thick at its thickest point, which is a little scary for me. Hopefully they can make one for me that's 4-5in for the entire tube.

  5. This is the only stemline they have in stock at the moment
