here around Chicago i hear a lot of different things depending on who I'm taking too, i'll try and remember as much as a i can.

a gram - Dub, 20, G, and a single.

an eighth - 8er, eightro, three five, 60, and slice.

weed - fire, yums, nugs, fliggity, green, and then all the usual's (bud pot weed)

bowl - pipe, glass, spoon, chillum etc etc

bong - water pipe, tube, that crazy ass piece

sayings that start smoke sessions - you tryna... blaze?, chief up?, triangle?, get bleezy'd?, kick back?, toke up?

names for cops - whooper, five, blue suit, many other explicit.

when somethings cool its - raw, dope, straight, tight, sick, top notch

there's a lot more i just cant remember it all. i personally say "word" and "right on" quite a bit but that's mostly me and my old man in conversation.

 

Piff, is a general term for bud that hasn't been named yet

Our codename for weed is "water". Haha it's awesome cause you can be like "I'm so hyrdated!" Or "I'm so thirsty!" and "Did it rain? (Did you pickup bud?)" "I'm drowning!"

It also works out because bud is good for you....and so is water!

 

Some terms from South East England:

Piff- high quality weed (some people also use dank)
Zoot- joint
Zoned/Zoning, monged- self explanatory
Whitey- green out

 

Upstate NY:
Weed: snacks
Smoking: eating snacks (all smoking; not just eating), hanging out, chilling, sparking up

 

I live in Oregon around the Portland area.

Some people call a blunt a "stick". Never hear that around much outside of Portland.

Aside from that people seem to use the word "piece" alot instead of pipe or bong, etc. From my experience! Tho this town changes a bit depending where youre at lol

Unless you get it from a dispensary, you can never be sure of what the actual strain is. Since CT isn't medical yet, we skip all the name b.s. and classify bud into 4 different categories.

"Supers" - Dankest of the Dank bud
"Headies" - Pretty dank bud
"Mids" - Alrite bud, better than regs
"Regs" - self explanatory

Some other lingo that may be the same or different in other areas:

"Scoobies" - When ash pulls through a piece into your mouth.
"Bowl" - any piece with a bowl and a carb
"Greens" - first hit (all the ganja is still green)

Is the term "smoking someone out" universal for smoking with someone with your bud?

oh and when my friends and I deciding whether to go smoke we always go "Would we?" and if we want to we go "we would." because the contraction for we would is we'd... haha yeah.. we're lame.

I don't really know most of the time we just call bongs bongs and joints joints. Somebody who hogs the weed is a chief or chiefer. Twenty bucks worth is a dub. Dank is dank weed obviously regs or middies are the same thing(decent weed) schweg or dirt is low grade weed.
