Hey GC, I am an old user who is reuniting with the GC community and thought I would post a journal to document my newest adventure. Overview: I will be using a two tent system with one being set up as a veg room and one being used for flowering. All ventilation is 4" ductwork with an active exhaust being vented directly outside. I am also using a 4" carbon filter that should hopefully eliminate all unwanted odors before being exhausted. I have yet to decide on the number of plants I want to use and what type of rotation I want to be on....perpetual harvest? Veg Room: The veg tent is a Secret Jardin DS60 (24x24x56") with a 125w CFL under a basic reflector. This room will be used for for my mothers/seedlings/clones/vegging plants just depending on what direction I decide to take this grow. I have the ventilation for this tent connected to the ventilation for the flowering tent which allows me to use my carbon filter for both room while still air cooling the 600w hood in the flowering tent. Its a neat little setup that I came up with but Im just hoping it works as well as it seems to be so far....I'll post pictures and explain more later Flower Room: The flower room is a Secret Jardin DR120 (48x48x80") with a 600w MH/HPS that is housed in an air-cooled reflector and powered by a Lumatek dual ballast. The flower tent also holds the 4" ProFilter Pro carbon filter that is routed so that it ventilates both grow tents and scrubs all air before it is exhausted directly outside. The hood is held up by two light ratchets which makes lowering and raising the reflector extremely easy. I have also built a fancy DIY 4x4 scrog out of 3/4" PVC pipe and nylon string. I currently have 5 seedlings that came from bag seed but I am anxiously awaiting an order from the trusty Attitude.....have GH Exodus Cheese, GH Doctor, GH Great White Shark, Dinafem Blue Hash, and a bunch of freebies. I should also be picking up some clones this weekend so once I gather all my resources the decisions of how many plants and what growing strategy to use will be made. Any input is greatly appreciated, thanks guys!!!
Any suggestions on the number of plants I should grow. I can't decide if I should use my SCROG for this grow or just go without it for the first run in this tent. I was thinking of possibly 9 plants in 3 gallon pots or maybe 6 plants in 5 gallon pots. I could also do 4 plants and veg them longer and use training to get 4 big bushes. Need to make this decision in the next few days so please feel free to give input. Thanks!
Seeds are through customs and have arrived at what should be their last sort facility.....I'm hoping to get them tomorrow!

I decided to germinate 3 of the exodus cheese, the 1 dinafem blue hash, and 1 of the great white shark. I plan on using the strongest of the 3 exodus cheese plants as a future mother. Once she is identified I will put her into a 2 gal pot and begin her pruning in the veg room. I also plan on making the blue hash a mother because I had prior experience with this strain and loved it. The great white shark will be grown out and I'll steal a couple clones from her prior to flowering. Anyone have any experience with any of the Eva seeds. Im tempted to pop this Jamaican dream but I can't much information on any I their seeds. Thanks guys!
It's only been 24 hrs since I started germinating the seeds and I already had 4/5 seeds get tap roots. I put the blue hash, GWS and 2/3 exodus cheese seeds into soil today. I use the small coco seed starters and then I put them into a half coco half ocean forest mix that is also cut down with perlite. I also gave them their first watering which was water and superthrive only.
All my new seeds germinated and sprouted so I now have a total of 10 seedlings vegging (5 bag seed, 3 exodus cheese, 1 great white shark, and 1 blue hash)....I'll try to get some new pics up tomorrow.
The 5 bigger plants are the mystery seed that came from a buddies hermie plant. He forgot to label two bags of seeds but we think the ones I'm growing are from a hermie Chemdawg so we will see what they produce. The 5 small seedlings consist of 3 GH Exodus Cheese, 1 GH Great White Shark and 1 Dinafem Blue Hash. I also put in another seed order and have Dinafem Powerkush, Critical +, and ?Diesel all coming plus a bunch of freebies.
Fed the littles girls some tea this morning. The brew included bush doctor microbe, EJ catalyst, FF Big Bloom, Guano Company Super Tea, Superthrive, CaliMagic, and molasses. I let it brew with the aerator for about 30 hours and applied immediately. They seem to really like it and are looking very green and lush. I will probably transplant the bigger ones into the 3 gal pots this weekend and put them under the 600w MH for roughly 7-10 days before I flip them to 12/12. I got anyone following this?
I love the setup man! Having seperate flowering, veg rooms is the most effiecient way to do it. Im surprised noone is following this, im definitly subbed. some of thise seedlings are really taking off! Everything ur saying sounds great

transplanted the 5 bagseed girls into 3 gal pots today. Also moved everything into the larger tent under the 600w MH.
The girls are doing pretty well but two of the small seedlings have some slight burning which appears to be from the light so I'll keep on eye on the situation.
