    bear who?

  2. Excellent idea and noble concept. Not everyone has the willpower to do it. Thats the saddest part.

  3. i do, just dont have resources ($$$)

  4. Don't try it by yourself.

  5. i saw his house on an episode of cribs.. shit is wild, his fridge is in the floor !

he lives up north near/in huntsville (ontario).

  6. we gotta start living more simply! everyone should know how to at least grow their own food or some shit like that.
good thing i know how to garden :p

  7. yes
    or some shit like that
    indeed.

sadly your average joe (including me, i aint special) cant even do that...
but I plan on starting soon,
probably is I want to grow organic veggies, at the same time i dont want the bugs :p
i want the best of both worlds, and thats a bit tricky

  8. Trying to get to do thus as I get older. Almost there. No city utilities. Grow your own food.

  9. For the first time, I bought some hens, to lay some chronic Eggs, and I compost all veggies left over. The compost for the garden to grow some veggies ect... It does not take the amount of time people think, a half hour a day....ish? I firmly believe you have to invest in your self/family because nobody else will do it for you!

  10. this is bad ass.. Not that scripted nonsense  This dude hiked in his tools, carved handles for the heads when he got out there. Then built the cabin by hand with a axe, draw knife, saw and chisel.

    Fucking baws

you can't change the world without changing your life.

  17. survivorman was better.

Id love to have a vacation home like that but id prefer the city better.

  18. this is awesome! absolutely awesome that those two decided to do that, those kids will grow up and be forever thankful. Living a life with the earth is life. We live a distant life that doesn't relate. My family would go camping all the time growing up which is what this reminds me of, the only thing is that I would want to do this with like a tribe lol, get like 5 families and go live off the grid, now THAT would be a hell of a good time.
