I never noticed any taste from using them- i just know they stink after you put them out. Only problem i got with them is if you overfill them they leak in your pocket- i actually got a scar from that once, i was carryin one and it leaked all over my leg, and i didnt notice til a few hours later when it started to burn like acid. When i undressed that night i saw it was all red and still hurt, then it turned into a scar.
