Zen and freedom amongst the caged minds

  1. you really make it sound real toosicks,, i mean the agent thing watching your every move from down the hall is really good stuff. and the fbi not having more important matters of national security, but would rather follow some pimple faced kid that reads too many comic books, and plays dungeons and dragons for real. and i have a hard time believing for a minute that a federal organization would ever purposely try to deprive a child of his/her education. oh and by the way, public disruptions are for the cops. you remind me of this kid in school (theres always one), he thought he had to tell cool stories to make people like him, he was right. if they are watchn,,,,, theyre prolly laughn their asses off. i am.............. thanks.

  2. I do both of those things, or did when I was younger, I am neither delusional nor paranoid, though I may be a geek :D

And as for your unfounded comments towards my good and wise friends Digit and Toosicks, why do you need to discredit them so much? If their claims are so ludicrous as to discredit themselves as you seem to believe why are you trying so hard?

I may have spent a lot of my youth playing dungeons and dragons but at least I didn't have to critisize others to get my kicks.

You remind me of the dozens of posers I knew at school who had to make someone else look bad so they could look good, as they had nothing real going for them to begin with.

    poser

  3. I'm not a big goverment conspiracy person but I think there's monitoring goin' on, FBI has a lot of files about lot of people, every pop/rock singer who has an audience big enough is monitored, book publishers are being watched of what they publsih. There's even an bureau for watching "normal" people, taxes, bank accounts etc. it all seems innocent and i don't believe that there's any evil plot behind cathering all this information about people, but what if there's people who would like to get their hands on these files and maybe use them in means of "evil"? and besides it creates tension when you're being watched "all the time" GPRS on cell phones, security cameras everywhere, IP codes on internet, Social security numbers, birth certificates etc. and the funniest thing is if you delete all these files you don't exist to society anymore! yes your friends will be there and the people who you know but you wont get a job, house, loan, anything you're out of it.DELETE YOURSELF!!!!

  4. i dont have to discredit anyone,,, human behavior dictates that they did it themselves. i got my kicks reading their lines of wit and lore, and i dont have to try real hard to make anyone look bad either,, you international operatives make it easy as hell. by the way,, i already sent my ss# and drivers license back to em. lol.....................

  5. we really should congradulate meaniegreenie here. he manages seemingly without effort to achieve that which I and the great philosopher neetcher (speelnd wrong?)... and that is, to say so much with saying so little.

its quite impressive to see someone not only achieve and publically declare thier ignorance through denial, and yet also keep towing a party line and even to an extent try to get us to be quiet!

dude, are you not aware of the methods they deploy and the ease at which they can deploy them through the methods' widespread and interwoveness throughout the very fabric of society. it doesnt take much for them to pull up someones psych profile and other details to see who is potentially a "threat"... and its well known that the government can get away with nearly anything by claiming matters of "national security". National security?? ha. dont make me laff... its governmental security and the maintenance of the status quo, authority rules, majority struggles. D:< and its worse these days... all the terrorists (thats us btw as users of teh herb) out there "threatenig" national security.

btw toosicks... they chucked me outta school before my last year too. nothing anywhere near as obviously heavy handed as you experienced, but i knew what was going on. (dont read between the lines there for that to have any conotations of conspiracy theory, because it doesnt.)
"school's not for you" ... yep, i got that too.
then even when i went to art college (i guess they thought that was acceptable as i wouldnt be expanding my mind there) i was being manipulated and supressed. really fucked up.

  6. Do you mean Friedrich Nietzche? Of Good and Evil?

They tried to boot me out of school, but I think it was because I was taking one class a semester and I skipped it 50% of the time.

  7. uhh, that might be the guy.

german fella who came up with "live ever moment as if it were to last for eternity" (or something to that effect)

  8. Okay, here's an example of what is happening. This is being kept under the public's "radar" so to speak, but this is what happens.

The TSA Transportation Safety Administration, whose job it is to provide aviation security is working with the FAA to label some pilots "possible threat". When a pilot is labeled "possible threat" by cirteria that are "highly classified" their pilots license is revoked with no explanation. In order to get unblacklisted you have to fight the battle in court. Problem is, the entire threat assessment division is classifed, and no records are released in courts as evidence, and therefore leave nowhere to even begin for a defense.

This is an example of how the government works. I've seen this stuff happen myself from both sides of the fence.

Oh yeah, and when they carted my ass off to jail for "attempted education" i was not a "special" case, as a amtter of fact i found out from my cellmate that they ran the same op on him, the same way. It was pure accident that i ended up in the cell with him, because i was in a cell with no toilet and i was beatin' on the door for them to let me take a leak, and as i was escorted to the pisser, they threw some belligiernt drunk in the cell i was in and he proceeded to trip out and shit, so i couldn't get "my" cell back, and they put me in a cell with this other dude from my school. We had a long and intersting conversation about the matter, and our experiences matched almost exactly, aside from minor details.

You all now my beliefs, which are disbelief of belief itself and if you understand that you're stoned. Go get some munchies, got some? Good, we can continue.

Although i don't beleive or agree with religion itself, i do have to say i admire at least, the determination, drive, and devotion you have to your religion. This had an impact on me last week when i was hiking through the mountains and came across on a mountaintop a shrine built of wood and mortar, large rocks and all kinds of "heavy" stuff. At first i started to think "what kind of idiot would haul up 1000 lbs of materials to build....." and then i realized just how strongly you believers believe, and also at that thought i understood your feelings.

The way i related it was, im thought, if i was gonna haul that much building crap up the steep side of a rugged collection of trecharous loose rock, i'd build me a mountian bike park up there.

Although our motives drastically different for such personal struggle, the path is the same, and at the end we get a self fulfillment from it. It's like sometimes to get to the top you gotta build a mountian. This is my whole point, i'm not trying to convince you there's no god, i'm just suggesting that you ask yourself what god is.

Here's the way i see it, there is a god, and it is a part of the human mind itself. It's the point where all concievable things end and there has to be "something" else. God? Science? Are we a cosmic ant frm of genetically engineered beings of other worlds and or dimensions?

In the end it really doesn't matter, it's all one of those "how many angels can you fit on the head of a pin" riddles? Your beliefs in religion are just as ridiculous as my ideas.

  9. Sounds like it could be Nietzche but it could probably lots of people. Nietzche was born in Prussia though.

A good quote from Nietzche "Let us guard against saying that death is the opposite of life; the living creature is simply a kind of dead creature, and a very rare kind." Not relevant I suppose but entertaining nonetheless.

  10. If God is the point that all concievable things end, does God change as we understand more and are able to concieve more? I do not believe that anything exists that cannot be explained. I'm sure that we can know less than one percent of what there is to know, but to say the rest is God is like saying that the sun is God because we don't know what it is, oh wait we did worship the sun before we knew what it was. I guess religion exists to explain the temporarily unexplainable.

  11. yep...

religion spawns from our desire to understand that which we do not... unfortunately it inhibits the progress of knowledge beyond the points at which it claims to have made its conclusions.
