If you haven't watched this, then you should. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Z9WVZddH9w]YouTube - ZEITGEIST: MOVING FORWARD | OFFICIAL RELEASE | 2011[/ame]
Before watching though, some of you might be interested in this: Lucas, Spy-ware and the Zeitgeist con Zeitgeist in all its forms is an experiment in manipulation by Godlike Productions. The disclaimer on their site quite plainly says that much of what they have there, including this movie, IS fiction, and that timelines and facts may have been changed. \t\t\t \t\t\tGodlike was formerly a large and happy discussion forum that was taken over by one Jason Lucas, now it's solely a front for Lucas and his ideas, but there is far more that's worthy of our attention at Godlike. Godlike are directly connected with spyware/malware company Lop.com, who are in turn connected to C2 Media (and too the nutty Rama cult who seem to have 'helped' fund Zeitgeist): http://www.nomorespyware.50megs.com/c2media.html "...C2 Media, located on London, England, likes to bill itself as a "legitimate advertising company". Anyone who has ever been infected with their advertising parasite, Lop, probably refers to them by other names. They feel that it is well within their rights to offer advertising to the average net-user. By "offer", they mean altering your IE browser through browser hijacks, adding toolbars and buttons, adding files and .dll files on your system, adding registry keys, and making itself at home in the Application Data folder. They sneak themselves onto computer systems by being obscurly bundled into other programs. It is also difficult to remove, requiring the user to perform part of the removal in Safe Mode and also accessing the regedit, something a novice or new user isn't proficiant at. In articles, Lucas (owner of Godlike, who are the creators of Zietgeist), compares this sort of infiltration as being perfectly acceptable and no different than watching a television commercial. . (http://www.ftc.gov/os/comments/spyware/040312lucas.pdf) He claims that people must pay to use the internet in the form of accepting unwanted advertising the same way we "pay" to use television and radio by listening to commercials. He seems to overlook the fact that the majority of people using the internet do pay for it's use....through their ISP services. And that the portion of the population using free ISP's are being served sponsored advertising through the free ISP. I feel that anyone paying $30 to $60 a month for the privilege of using bandwidth should not be required to suffer their unwanted adware, nor should they be allowed to alter the user's personal property, i.e., their computer. Those who use free ISP services are also served with advertising sponsored by the ISP service, which is their agreed upon terms with the service. Why does C2 Media feel these people should "pay" even more by turning over control of their computers to C2 Media?..." Lucas is desperate to change the image of spyware to allow him to use it unfairly through Lop. This is part of his letter to the Federal Trade Commission to try and get them to accept spyware and adware as legal: "...Much of the "evil" things heard about "adware" are over-exaggerations packaged by the "anti-advertising industry" as a "fear sale" pressure tactic. This approach is consistent with the interests of an "anti-adware" company in fostering fear and discontent on the part of the general public regarding advertising software. The more the public fears, the more the "anti-advertising industry" profits. This, of course, is where the term 'spyware' takes on particular significance. The term 'spy' has a menacing connotation for most people. Even though most 'adware' actually does no spying, the "anti-advertising industry" advises the public that their privacy is at risk from what is mostly a rather benign advertising software package. In my opinion, at least half of all the 'facts' reported by even the most reputable 'anti virus' companies regarding advertising software are either untrue or half-truths. This is because it is obviously in their own financial interest to foster fear on the public mind so that it generates demand for anti-virus software. The fact is if you are in the 'anti-advertising' industry, the word 'spyware' sells (and that means money and profits for those so-called "anti-virus" companies)...." Godlike want malware to be legalised for two reasons, to make money, and because they're experimenting with social influence, through films like Zeitgeist. Look up the name Tavistock in connection with Lucas and Godlike. Although it may sound like Godlike are simply appealing (rightly) for freedom of speech against the government, anyone thinking person must wonder why it's necessary to spread proven lies against the government and church to get freedom of speech? There are unfavourable reports on CM2/godlike/lopware and its methods here: http://www.nomorespyware.50megs.com/c2media.html http://www.associatedcontent.com/art...ve.html?cat=47 "...Godlike Productions is involved in psychological operations , sometimes targeting specific individuals. There is evidence to indicate that some of the moderators and especially the owners have an agenda to stir up anti semitic sentiment by defending zionism as representing jews in general at the same time they vehemently attack anti zionists as anti semetic. There are also regularly threats allowed to be posted and remain as well as the personal information of those who were threatened, the goal is intimidation...." Isn't it strange that GLP, a company who's films decry infiltration and underhand government tactics and lies of every kind - is a front for people who are using the same methods to influence the population and spread malware. If you support Zeitgeist, you support spyware and the loss of your privacy. MelT
Hmmm how is GLP related to the newest Zeitgiest movie...it seems like you're talking about the old first movie. Plus, all of the info in Zeitgiest is true and backed by facts with all sources cited. Even if there is a huge fraud, con, conspiracy, etc going on with Zeitgiest, take the good out if things. Why focus on all the bad stuff when you could watch the FREE movie and learn something? Focusing on the negative will only bring negative things back to you...the law of attraction, look it up - peace, joy, love, and light
Exactly what I was thinking. MelT, have you watched this latest film? Or are you just going by the content of the first?
I'm going by the content of all three. Of all of them, the third is possibly THE worst and silliness beyond belief. The films are all made and promoted by Godlike. Please see above why it's not a good idea to believe anything they say. They have lied continually through all three films, and their aim is simply to see how long it takes for the ideas in the films to filter down into the thoughts of people like us. Can you really trust a company who runs the biggest spyware.adware companies in the world? I can say no more. MelT
No, all of them. All made and financed by the same spyware company, whos aim is to stop the internet from being free, and making spyware legal. Please take a look at the links provided. Could you tell me which parts of the first film regarding religion were true? I see no benefit whatsoever in having people believe things that aren't true. Are you really saying that we should forget that the creators have lied continually to those viewing and that we should focus on the positive things they say instead and ignore the facts about who they are and what their intentions are? I don't think any sane person should, and here's why: Theosophy was a spiritual society, invented in Victorian times. It was a total fraud that has been exposed endless times. It seems harmless, as it talks about our higher selves and chakras and the spiritual evolution of man. It also says that all its members are concerned with nothing other than truth and the betterment of civilsation. Unfortunately Theosphy is also massively racist, and calls just about anyone other than white europeans 'degenerates' and says that they will never progress spiritually or become educated, as they're too stupid. Harmless? No, this simple, stupid, neo-new age society and its followers were the people who eventually brought you imperialist racism in the british and german colonies, and a vast increase in the repression of black people around the world that still echoes today. But it didn't stop there. Theosophy also led directly to the Holocaust of WW2 and the deaths of millions. Remember the purity of the Aryan race that the Nazis talked about? Theosophy. Lies are never harmless. Believe Zeitgeist at your peril, no matter what good you may think you see in it. MelT
Man, I know I write some crazy stuff sometimes, but... Before today, I may have heard of this "zeitgeist" business, but I think I learned enough about it today. Buds sums it up pretty well himself when he says, "Even if there is a huge fraud, con, conspiracy, etc going on with Zeitgiest, take the good out if things. Why focus on all the bad stuff when you could watch the FREE movie and learn something?" Exactly. Why focus on the fact that this is put out by people who clearly have nobodies interest in mind but their own, demonstrating that even the truth is expendable when it comes to getting their way. Just forget about all that, watch the free movie and let someone manipulate your emotions for whatever purpose they have in mind... It's not just governments who manipulate us, but it always boils down to money and/or political power as the aim. Something has clearly been going on in the world- IS going on. It could be that since there are competing purposes and parties the pattern is unclear. History shows us "the masses" are used as game pieces over and over again...
Forget who funded the movie, forget about the religion in the first movie...what was false in the thrid movie? I'd really like to know what was wrong. He had Harvard phd's back up his info and studies that he cited throughout the movie. There was no false information in the latest movie. If you can point out what is false and then provide a source and get a phd to back it up then maybe you have something. - peace, joy, love, and light
I watched it today up until their "proposed" solution of "if we just so happened to find a total replecate of earth" part. The first parts about psychology were pretty cool, considering they mentioned addictions, and it made sense because a lot of things that I felt as a teen that got me into using drugs to numb myself could stem from my early childhood, which I had already figured out awhile ago, this just put it in a more scientific perspective.
To not believe the information in this movie, demonstrates the true effectiveness of today's society in conditioning their people to accept the current monetary system.
QFT. I actually watched the human nature part twice because I enjoyed it so much. Once they start talking about how we should've done things is when they start to lose me because yes, it would be beautiful to be as self sustaining as they proclaim but we won't be that way, ever.
uHMMM.... So your sayin' people with phd's nvr lie And by that token... Marijuana must actually be bad for us then The way things have been manipulated by the powers that be... There really is nothing that can be done about it.... We are all slaves and will only truly be free when we die. It's been this way for thousands of years, ( not the spy ware part) So til then spark up and stay high That's my 2 cents adjusted for inflation & current economic situation.... I believe that comes to 1 yen
What? The creator, Peter Joseph, was using the idea of having a replicate of earth as an example for how we would harness natural resources in an economic way. He was using that analogy to illustrate what would be possible had humanity not been so wasteful with the planet's finite resources, and therefore what's possible to remedy this current environmental dilemma. I get the impression you've misinterpreted his motives.
To be fair, if it's a significantly different movie and the first one was debunked or a fraud or something, it's dumb to keep the same name and they deserve whatever skepticism they're received with.
that default youtube pic is such a mood killer but im def coming back to watch it when i have more time.
Hey. Not sensational person here. I didn't like the first one much. Too many half truths, Fed Reserve part was eye opening for me at the time though. The second one I commend for including the economic hitman parts but the Venus project or whatever looses me beyond a certain point. This one I got 40 mins into last night before passing out, has some interesting claims so far, I'll need to look into them. P.S. Hosting a video on youtube for free = spyware for me how?
