I feel that naming a favorite artist is too general and naming a favorite song is too specific

So based off of how good the album was, what are your three favorite?

You can name 3 albums from any genre, or mix and match

    Hip-Hop

    1. Nas - Illmatic (1994)

    2. Notorious B.I.G - Ready To Die (1994)

    3. Jay-Z - Reasonable Doubt (1996)

    Wayne almost took 3rd

Lil Wayne - Tha Carter II

    Classic Rock

    1. Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin (1969)

    2. Jimi Hendrix - Electric Ladyland (1968)

    3. Black Sabbath - Paranoid (1970)

I wanted the Beatles in there, but quite frankly all their good songs are split up between their albums and LPs, and no one album by itself tops these

If I think of any other genres I like I'll add them

So what are your guy's top 3?

    "Modern" Rock (prog, alt, whatever):

Queens of the Stone Age - "Queens of the Stone Age"

Pinback (Again just couldn't choose an album).

    Misc:

Godspeed You! Black Emperor - "Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven"

Lisa Gerrard - "The Mirror Pool"

Chopin (didn't really release any "albums" but every piece he ever wrote I love)

There's a bunch of electronica I like too and loads of favorite albums that I love too that didn't make the list... Because of the nature of electronica kinda hard to say specific albums.
