This company does copy ideas of other glass blowers but they are pretty well constructed pieces for being kinda a lame and rip off company. I actually own 1 and the piece is well constructed IMO for a good price. Is their any other company's out their that rip off legit glass artists like toro, and mobious but still made in America? Like bent glass is not china made glass it's actual American made pieces but it's kind of lame that they go out their and rip off the designs of well known glass blowers. Whats your guys thoughts on bent glass and do you think they are legit pieces or no?
Cheech glass is the worst about ripping off artist. They have a mobius matrix perc that is exactly identical to the mobius for $170.
Are these company's the same quality as the legit glass blowers or are they a lot lesser of quality? I mean it is in fact American high quality glass made in America. Im sure the glass blowers that blow for bent and cheech are not on the same level as toro or mobius im sure.
They are not " made in america" They are made in a sweat shop in china and then they put the labels on in CANADA and the USA and call it USA made. Its bs and while it may work its nothing like the original in quality

They are not as good as the original company's though.
even if they do compare, can you really be okay with handing such a big purchase over to somebody with such shady business ethics, who is willing to rip off other artists just to make a profit? I know I can't, and trust me you will be so much happier with your piece, and the longevity of that enjoyment will be greatly increased if you buy something that's not a shitty knock-off

Yes they rip off their designs but at no point is any of the material purchased to make bent pieces anywhere near china. They are amazing quality for the price and right around the same as companies like HVY or syn. How do I know? Saw them at hempisphere last year in LA doing a demo, and got them to supply the headshop I worked in at the time. And as far as copying toro its the macro... its a bent glass tube with 4 slits cut in it that's passed off as a perc. If that's the case then luke wilson, toro, hbg, and just about every other glass company is ripping off HOPS who invented the inline perc, and every company who does tree percs are ripping off the legendary bLAZE1 who invented the tree. Every company uses every other companies ideas. While I agree they could've put a little of their own flair in their pieces, every company has to start somewhere. They took the designs they thought were most innovative and used them in their own pieces, and for now that's all they offer. But I have a feeling well see some of their own ideas come to life soon. Roach is already hinting at some new designs last time I talked to him. Well see what happens!
Not "Every company uses every other companies ideas." Yes some will take a design here and there and add their own variation too it, but only Bent/Cheech straight up jack the ENTIRE design, and multiple designs from pretty much any INNOVATIVE company. This thread is about opinions, and my opinion on Bent along with Cheech is that they have absolutely nothing innovative, just stolen designs. That is a shit company that should not be supported. IF these company's can ever make a game changing design, it'll earn my respect, but until they stop stealing designs, will never respect them.
I'm sure they are still quality though even if they rip off other peoples ideas. I heard that their are a bunch of glass blowers at bent including biohazzard glass.
theres a reason for the big price difference, you get what you pay for
Not entirely true as a marketing major myself I can personally tell you name and "brand" help raise the price of said product as well. No disrespect intended just from my experiences.
I've smoked all kinds I Can say the more expensive is better obviously but the point I'm trying to make is as soon as you make a brand name for yourself. Instantly you can began charging more!
Its an open market, when an idea works people will copy it, If the people copying it are just as talented as the expensive brand whats the difference? as long as is not china glass! And a shitty knock off? being a knock off doesn't make it shitty cheech has good value with high end functionality and you believe that the tag on it changes the price? no not at all, not in my opinion I believe glass is all subject to opinion. no one is wrong, no one right Anyway, OP If you wanna spend more for a sticker go head but if you just want a nice piece with quality and value, look at the smaller companies and stop asking GC cus they are piece snobs!
In the glass game your name or brand comes from years of experience, which generally means better build quality, so you do get what you pay for...unless your talking roor lol. Call me a glass snob all you want, I call it respect for the blowers who innovate the art/game.

IMO
Haven't hit a bad toro piece yet. I LOVE toro but the price on his pieces is a bit expensive. How lucky is JP lol. I bet he has a sick collection of one of a kind toro pieces.
You 100% get what you pay for. Go pick up a bent or cheech and then go pick up an SG or toro right after. you will feel the difference in your hands. It's easy to compare until you have em side by side. I'll stay loyal to those blowers i know that make quality glass because they love it.
