    this guy is beyond dope...Hes made a ton of albums, entirely by himself, rapping and producing all of his own shit, and i feel like he is always improving...if you dont know who he is, check him out, hes from canada, ive actually met him and blazed with him beofre, cool guy
     
  3. Have you seen the music video for the life of kings by phonte? Evidence missed his flight so the director decided to get his phontes mum to lip sync it. It's so fucking funny.

  7. Yeah I love a bit of Eric.B. My favourite thing about him is if you look at all the written and filmed interviews with anyone that knew him when he was working with Rakim- they will say how much both aspects- the MCing and the beats- of their music was a collaborative process. And for a producer to give hand some of his creative process over to an MC (and credit to rakim for doing the same with his rhyming) is pretty amazing. When Rakim worked with Dr. Dre they couldn't finish anything for exactly the opposite reason- dre was taking over all the beat making and trying to take Rakim rhyme in a certain way. Maybe thats why Eric.B and Rakim are so legendary? But there you go- thats why I have love for eric b.
     
  8. Yeah you gotta love a good ole MC-Producer one-two. Guru and DJ Premier are another legendary duet that comes to mind.
