What is your favorite song in the entire world? I think everybody has a certain song that is special to them in a particular way. My personal favorite is 'Dreams' by the Allman Brothers Band. It is my favorite song in the entire world bar none, I love it so much. The reason I love this song is because it really calms me down and can make me appreciate the good things in life..just listening to it makes me feel better when I'm in a shitty mood. The guitar solo is what really gets me.

Nice man nice. Yeah I know lots of people have like a bunch of different songs. Like I have lots of different songs that I love in different ways but Dreams is that one song that sticks out to me more than even all my other favorites. I have bunches though, a few more that are favorites of mine are: tons of songs by Bob Marley..his music is so important to me that I can't even choose just a few songs, they all mean so much. One of the standout songs is Coming in From the Cold though. Going to California by Zeppelin, So Many Roads by the Grateful Dead, theres a few by Peter Tosh. Music is just amazing all around haha.
Yeah, all Alice In Chains is good, but Facelift to me is their rawest, realest shit. It really came down to Tom Waits - Gun Street Girl or Bootsy Collins - Munchies For Your Love, or Alice In Chains. It's still 3 way tie for me kinda.

I guess, if i had a favourite it would probably something more along the lines of Rocks And Daggers by Noah and the Whale, Slow Parade by Broken Records and Wolves also by Broken Records. On all 3 tracks the Swelling Violins get me ever time. However my favourite song to play is probably Ill Follow You Into The Dark by Death Cab For Cutie. Its just such a nice easyish riff to play.
Long Gone Day by Mad Season. Greatest song about drug addiction. Layne even writes about missing the times with Alice in Chains. Plus good contributive singing from Mark Lanigan of the Screaming Trees. Hints of jazz mixed with grunge. Whats not to like?
