  1. Hey all,

I'm coming to the end of my college years now and im starting to think of a place to move. For those of you who have traveled what's your top choice of living in the US and why? I think my heart is set somewhere on the west coast but i'd like to hear what everyone in this community has to say about their general area since we all have something in common! :D

  2. My favorite place in the US I've been to is Northern Arizona. My favorite place I've actually lived in is my home state, Kentucky, hence why after living a few other places my ass is back here :smoking:

Of course that's just my opinion. Do a bit of traveling and see the different areas of the US a bit before you decide what you like best! Decide what culture you like best, what people you like, what size of city you seem to like, quite a bit of variety in the US :D

  3. I live in NY. On Long Island. Its super nice, you get all four seasons, and I absolutely love it. The taxes, being in NY, are high however. My house is literally less than a minutes walk from the beach, and in the summer, it is absolutely breathtaking. Big pot town too.

Kinda like cali on east coast in the summer.

  4. what?

  5. Maine! Beautiful, secluded, diverse geography, relaxed growing laws. Cant wait to move there

  6. Isn't it normally desolate and cold in Maine? Albeit beautiful.

  7. South Florida.

  8. I live in So-Cal and i will never move i absolutely love it here

  9. Nowhere, really...I gotta get out of this country.

    Oregon is nice though.

  10. Seattle.
I dunno why exactly but I got a thing for Seattle :smoke: I love Portland too.

Central FL. Especially once we get these green laws passed. I could live here my whole life. Hour away from Orlando, an hour away from Jax, not too far from Miami and Tampa. Perfect small town spot close to everything you need. All we have is punk surf and skate kids which is what I grew up with, never seen a legit gang in my life. Just like how people need to be street wise in the city, same shit but different flavor. Cutting someone off in the water is a ticket to get your board snapped and nearly drowned. You do not want to scrap in the water. I love it here though, the attitude, the smoke, most consistent waves on the east coast and shark bite capital.

When I was in HS the school was literally on beach side. Man we skipped a lot, whose going to walk in the front gate when the waves are glassy and overhead?

  14. Colorado, 20 years ago before over population of my favorite city.

(the why? part). I love trout fishing in the mountains and enjoying the beautiful scenery. I love Weed which is now legal in the great state of Colorado. I love the Denver Broncos (well it's a love/hate relationship right now). However, due to being married to an Iowa woman, I am stuck in the shitty state of Iowa. But that's ok, because I love my wife...

  15. Either colorado or the PNW

    NorCal is sweet too

  16. I strongly advise against living in Wildwood... I lived in NJ 19 years of my life and I've been to wildwood almost every year, its a cool vacation spot but the people there suck horribly. Too many damn 'guido' kids and thugs there. But I strongly suggest checking out the California Bay Area or Sacramento area. I love NorCal.

  17. Nyc because I grew up there and still live there

Sent from my IPhone 6 using GC Forum

  18. PNW sounds so nice.. lol bay area is just too damn expensive and so cal seems nice and all but i don't think id fit in? i have never been there though so i can't say.

  19. Vermont

Almost everyone I know smokes, and people leave you alone for the most part. We are also the second least populous state (I see this as a plus), and of course we have beautiful mountain scenery, all four seasons (It's actually thirty degrees outside right now).

Great fishing and hunting. People are very independent and actually possess common sense, but at the same time people here are incredibly tolerant and friendly. Your neighbor will actually help you stack wood, or whatever.

Vermont is also a very progressive state, and one of our senators is actually a socialist.
