  1. Hey I'm 11 12 in less than a month i smoke an average of i'd say 5 or 4 times a week is that too much?

  2. yeah, shouldnt start till at least 15

  3. My bro started at 9.I'm, not gonna quit but I might smoke less.

  4. at the end of the day it is your choice. Personally I would not smoke until 15 if i were you. I don't like smoke too often and I'm 16. I'd give it a few years. We don't really have much of an Idea about drug induced psychosis and that shit but if i were you i wouldn't risk it... it's like smoking while preggers...

  5. 11?! i thought you had to be 18 to join this site! i mean i know there are teens on here, but 11?? wow...
pardon me for saying but 11/12 in my opinion is too early to start. i can't help you in this category because i think 1 time a week is too much for someone your age.
[edit: am i naive? or are all pre-teens smoking pot now??!!
    geez...]

  6. I gtta agree with Ganjaphish on this one. I'm not saying you can't handle it or anything, just at your age, I don't think it is good at all!

  7. I say this, being that I started around 7th grade, jus stay in school and don't drop out. Don't fail all your classes, jus pass. If you can get through school and still smoke 4 to 5 times a week, then its all good. If your not responsible enough yet to be able to be focussed with school and be able to smoke, quit smoking so much or jus smoke on the weekends. Its summer now though so smoke as much as you want. :smoke:

  8. 11/12 is too early i smoked my first cigarette at that age which i dont smoke now but i have a little bro that i caught smoking with his friend once and i told him that ill kill him if i cought him doin anything illegal but its funny though i started mj when i was 16 and cigs at 11 but i wont let him

  9. one of the worst things you can do to your still growing body is interfear with its processes by using marijuana...Marijuana is generally safe, but its been proven to cause developmental damage to minors who start at an early age. My general philosophy is that I dont believe anyone, especially the government has the right to tell me what I can or cannot do to my own body...but for this im gonna have to make a exception bro....luckily your young enough and marijuana isnt physically addictive so you still have time to give it a rest atleast for now....

  10. Oh honey!
I don't normally like to label someone as "too young" or "too old" for activities, but YOU ARE TOO YOUNG, lol!

Seriously, if seasoned tokers are telling you that you are starting at too young of an age, take their advise!
Marijuana can open up your way of thinking, and such, but if you are not old enough to realize what you are being given, then it is a waste. At 11, I would have to wonder WHY you have started smoking. Not that I think anyone NEEDS a reason to start, but at such a young age, the question begs an answer.

So, you tell us..... Why do you smoke?

It doesn't have to be any special, though provoking reason, but I am interested in the why.... from there maybe the posters on this board will be in a position to help you more.

  11. Ok well I first started out of curiosity(sp?)Then it became fun.And then my dad died about 8 months ago at the age of 42 so i did it a little more now i do once again cause it's fun and i enjoy, and if you don't see that oh well.Besides i'm taking xplicitcontents and my bro's advice keep toking.

    P.S. School's going fine i passed with A's and B's:)

  12. I wasn't attempting to knock smoking for fun.... I do that too, otherwise I wouldn't be here.... :)

The physical negatives, that someone was kind enough to post, would suggest that using at this age, might not be a good idea. Ultimately, the choice is yours to make, even at the tender age of 11/12, and I think that most, if not all, here will respect your right to make your own choice.
However, you should try to accept our advise with an open mind and heart. No one here is trying to discourage your use because of WHAT it is, only because of the negative effects it might have on someone of your age and size. Our concern is about YOU, and not about WHAT you are doing.

I have to admit that I have not done much reading on the adverse affects on children under the age of 18, but, common sense would tell me that anyone who has not stopped growing/developing, should be careful of what they put in their bodies.

My post was not an attempt to change your mind, or condemn you for your actions, mine was merely a question.... I meant no offense.

  13. Oh sh*t son. Thats prolly why its gonna take me 5 years to graduate high school. I can't seem to pass or be able to be smart anymore. Heh

  14. Well I can understand the curiosity part, I too started out of curiosity(and peer pressure..ARRGH!)...I can understand how youd enjoy the fun parts of it....but as for the part about smoking "a little more" since your father died worries me....I too had a close loved one die when I was younger, and I too used marijuana to escape...yes escape....whatever youre telling yourself, whatever excuses you make to cover it up, the fact is, from what Ive been hearing, is that you're using this as a key to escape, and thats a form of drug abuse. Not to mention youre doing this all at a prepubescent age. Bottom line is that with your body still adapting and learning new things, this is not a time to be experimenting with drugs. You may not notice anything at first, but over time you will start to lose your ability to concentrate, your metabolism will flucuate, your body will over produce and underproduce certain vital hormones for adult growth etc. Its just not a good idea.

xplicit....if thats the real case, then it could very well be the fact that youre smoking too early or started too early. I started at 15 and when I look back at it, I would rather have started later on in life when I was ready for it. I hate to sound like such a fat hypocrit, but dont think of it as us old folk looking back at you "youngsters" and saying "well I remember having fun at your age, but now that its your turn im pulling the plug!"...think of it as us all trying to explain that we've been there, we know what its like, we know what it can do, and we've learned from our mistakes(most of us atleast), and we're trying to give you some golden advice here for your own good.

  15. Mayor_Lala & NuBBiN(scary as he is, that's not really him btw! lol) have some seriously sound advice here ~ take it to heart, and take no offense. A's & B's are great, keep it up ~ school doesn't get any easier, but the knowledge given to you is worth more than anything, and that diploma/degree/phd will get you far in life.

As for the marijuana issue I'm still conflicted based on youth, but Mayor_Lala's right, we shouldn't try to tell you what to do ~ that's not what we're here for anyway, and your life is there for what you choose to do with it. Just keep your head on straight and don't lose sight of your goals/future. That's a big responsibility for an 11-year-old, but anythings possible in this world, and the fact you questioned yourself and came here for advice on the subject makes me think you're on the ball.

Just be careful with the escape factor, as NuBBiN did point out escapism can be a habitual/abuse issue and if once-in-awhile turns into daily, and priorities change from homework to weed you may not be able to catch the change yourself.
Best of wishes, and you came to the right place for advice! I am sorry to hear about your father, I only hope you are "dealing" with his loss well, and if you ever need to talk to anyone you sure have friends in us at "the city"!
    xo~

  16. Yea, I wish I would've started later, oh well, can't change the past and too lazy to bother with the future.
