So, when brewing tea, how do I know when it’s ready? I’ve hear “just let it brew for 24 hours and it’s good”, I’ve also heard, “when it starts foaming, it’s ready”. What is it? What do you think and or how long do you brew your tea for? Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
It depends on what your doing. Like malted barley 4-6 hrs. Alfalfa/kelp 24 hrs. Compost, better to use a microscope.
Compost with some alfalfa meal and or other fertilizer and some molasses Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
With compost teas it’s better to use a microscope and know what your brewing. I recently know of a grower who identified some bad guys brewing in his tea. It would’ve been a bad move to pour on his girls. He narrowed it down to the reused bags as the culprit but with compost teas you never know unless you scope.
Microbe Organics This is Tim Wilson's(MicrobeMan on Grasscity)website. He has forgot more than most people on compost tea. He used proven science and microscopes to research this. Read his site, he answers all your questions. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
