you tell your friends and family and they don't even ask about it? I just got back from this spur of the moment trip/vacation that turned out to be amazing, and they haven't said but a few words about it... Oh well I guess
why don't you just tell them about it they have lives too why don't you ask them about what they did while you were gone it could have been amazing LoL
***** don't expect people to initiate conversations what if they're all in a bad mood for whatever reason and the last thing they want to do is hear someone tell them how awesome they're life currently is LoL Edit: just be like, at the appropriate time of course, I just got back from ____ and go from there depending on whether or not they look interested. keep it short like "it was great" if they don't and then change the subject by asking them whats up sheesh
Would rather have it like that then how it is with my parents, asking 1000 questions about it when I'm tired.
Happens to me all the time, so I figured they don't deserve to hear my tales of awesome adventures. Also if I cared about what anyone thought of my adventures I'd still have a facebook. Maybe one day someone will want to know but for now it's just between me and whoever came with me.

My family doesn't give a hoot about my List. All that wonderful knowledge just waiting there and they sit and play video games. (click that first link in my sig to see what I am talking about) They did listen about Omega 3, anyway. It's a start. Granny
