Quick question GC I have four plants on flowering stage under a 1000watt light what am I expect total yeild from these? Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Depends on your skill as a grower, environmental conditions, and above all else the plant's genetics.
Waktoo plants are two sativa Hollywood haze and 1 Girl Scout cookie Temps stay at 85 humidity is low 30s There is 5 gallon pots with FFOF and using tiger and big blooms Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Well, I still have no "guestimate" as to what your final yield might be. There are too many factors involved. Look into LST (Low Stress Training, or trellising) technique. It's a non stressful way to train your plants. It keeps them low, which you're going to need if you're growing sativas. It also increases yield due to the fact that lower branches receive more light. You have to do something about your temp' and humidity, especially your temp'. You really don't want temp's over 80F. Also, sativas take a lot longer to grow (flower) than indicas. Depending on how long you veg' for, you may want to think about upsizing those sativas before they go into flower. Utilizing SIP's (Sub Irrigated Planters) will help with your humidity issues. Here's a good tutorial on a cheap and effective way to do it... http://forum.grasscity.com/organic-growing/1151159-noobwannbs-self-wicking-smartpot-ghetto-setup.html?view=findpost&p=18045496&hl=noob%26%2339%3Bs
I've stopped "LST" training as soon as I put them into flower so they can stretch upward now here's a picture of the plants And thank you for all advice waktoo!! Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
I use a dehumidifier so it stays are 40%-50% the only thing I'm having trouble with his controlling the heat. It jumped to 92f so I threw in a AC unit in the flowering room Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
It looks like you have a decent grow space, as opposed to a tent. 92F!!!!!!!!! Not good. Have you not set up an adequate ventilation system? Stale air out, fresh air in? Fresh air is SOOOOOOOOOOO important. Plants need plenty of CO[SUB]2[/SUB] in order to grow healthy.
Get a cooltube or at least have some inline fans venting the hot air out. I have one at the top of my tent and it dramatically decreases temp + freshens and replaces the air.
Well I have a 24x8 carbon filter with a 8" inline fan with a silencer but it's not hooked up yet been a little confused about that setup.tell me if this is right and I'll get to work on it tomorrow , if I'm corrected I should attach my 8" fan and silencer to my carbon filter (carbon filter/inline/silencer). In that order and then attack my insulated ducking to the end of the silencer. Should I have the end of the ducking out of the house,( make a hole and put it threw ,kinda like how your dryer works type of deal?) Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Should have let em veg longer with that much space... Those twigs aren't even gonna get you close to an ounce a plant...
So bump up to two months? I thought you can get away with 1 month of veg bcuz they grow 3x in flower? Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Don't veg for two months lol! A month is too long, your going to end up with a lot of fluff. I veg for 2 weeks max. You really need a light per plant to get serious results. I easily get a pound a plant using a 600w per plant. And the answer to your cool tube question, yes vent it out like a dryer. You want that hot air well out if the room. Same with your reservoir, and ballasts and anything else that generates heat, you want all these outside or your room. Those four plants you got, I personally would be running 2x1000w lights over them. Anyway I hope this helps. Sent from a used tampon, launched from Mars...
Thanks Joey and my next run I'm going to turn the other 1000watt light. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum And isn't the ideal time to beg are 2-4 weeks? Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
