So these two plants are now 10 days old. I germed them in the rockwool and put the rockwool into bubble buckets about 6 days ago. I have been giving the rockwool water to keep them hydrated while the roots develop. The pH on the water is 6.19, I'm using a 400w MH light for veg and it's on 24/7 and about 36" from the tops of the plants. The temp in the tent is 77F and humidity is around 12%. The buckets are filled with RO water and mixed with lucas formula I think that covers all of the vitals. I'm just worried something is wrong with these little suckers. They shot up to where they are and haven't changed much at all in the last 3 days. The leaves look a little... off but I'm new at this so I thought I'd get your opinion. Here are some pictures, I will try and get more in focus ones if needed but this is the best I have for now.
They look fine, maybe a tad overwatered. That rw looks a bit too damp, I would let it dry right out between waterings otherwise the roots have no reason to grow. They will go in search of water if there is none right there.
I've got some growth on the one pictured below but the leaves still aren't looking too hot, haven't watered them in the last 2 days. The other seems to be exactly the same.
how much are u feeding, keep ur pH around 5.8, if u are feeding give them a light dose seedlings dont need alot of food, get ur humidity up, keep it around 50% u can keep a bowl of water in there and refill it when it gets low. how far is the light, seedlings wont do good if the intensity is to much
The only nutes they are getting right now are any they may be getting from the buckets, which I would imagine isn't much at their size, they aren't reaching low into the buckets yet. The nutes are also only 2/3 strength not full. I will try to bring the humidity up, thanks. And the light is 36" away right now.
They look less over watered than they did. Please stop feeding them. They are too young for food. Imo you are seeing nute burn on the leaves.
I'm pretty sure the runt isn't going to make it, it's standing up but literally hasn't grown one bit since I started this thread. The other on though... seems to be growing like wild fire but it appears to be possibly getting nute burn maybe? The nutes aren't full strength. I had a panic moment today. The power was out at my place for about an hour and a half today so they were without light for a little while. I have my air pumps on a battery backup for that exact reason, to combat root rot if I have a power outage. But here are pics of the one that's growing, one from 2 days ago, one from 10 minutes ago and a side shot from 10 minutes ago also.
