Any yes fans out there? of course I'm talking about the famous progressive rock band from the 70s. I could just get lost in the lyrics and instrumentation... what is your favorite yes song? mine is either close to the edge or roundabout
When I used to get stoned Yes was probably my first progrock band that I truly collected and enjoyed. I still do. I remember having just purchased Close To The Edge and then playing hacky sack on my porch with a boom box on in the background. Eventually I got hooked on King Crimson... some ELP stuff... and finally years later I got into Genesis. Selling England By The Pound is my favorite prog rock album. I didn't like it until I really listened to it a couple years after I bought it. By that time, I was listening to bands like The Sea and Cake and Tortoise.
