  1. Friends of mine went to the premiere,, Said it sucked..

Which is ashame because i wanted to see it,, so any thoughts?

  2. sick movie

  3. I've heard it was terrible

    And a bit lengthy

  4. Just saw it. Wasn't terrible by any means. Amazing cinematography, and special effects. Acting was top notch all the way around. It definitely had a Cape Fear feel to it. The problem with it was the predictability. The "twist" was just so obvious. The whole time you are sitting there like, oh man, I know where this is going, but I wonder where it will actually end up... and it ends exactly how you think it will. Which is a bummer. Frankly, the film is given away in the trailer.

    All-in-all, I'd give it a C+/B-

  5. i have to honestly say that this is one of the best movies i have seen in awhile.

the story was fantastic and kept you at the edge of your seat.

    i like movies like this.

  6. I just heard it was played out not many movies get my money,,haven't gone to see a movie in a theater since the dark knight..

  7. i think i wanna see it. call me crazy but i think Leo is getting better at acting. plus im in the mood for a good new psycho-thriller.

  8. Yes. The acting alone makes it worth it.

  9. watch it.
    its decent.

dude that ending was not obvious

i mean unless you really picked up on what his wife was taking about in the dreams

i had no idea what was gonna happen when he went in that lighthouse

but i gotta say i was dissapointed by what i found out, it was a good twist just not the ending i was hoping for because they built the tension up nice throughout the whole movie

  12. try not to give away anything to people who havent seen it. its definitely worth the watch. great film and just like people said the acting was great.

  13. I saw it and wanted to love it. But before i saw it i already had an idea of what might happen. So even though i sorta figured it out, i still liked it. Good acting and storytelling nevertheless.

  14. i thought it was great. i didnt even notice the length.

  15. I loved the story behind it. But something about the plot didn't appeal to me...and the acting wasn't all that great.

  16. i saw it and enjoyed it. good acting but like everyone else said, you could kinda see it all coming...however it's definitely the best movie i've seen in theatres in a while.

  17. What a mind FUCK!! But go c it you might like it but i got to tell ya it really fucked my high up.

  18. I smoked a J on my way to see it and lets just say it wasn't the best movie I've seen fucked up. It seemed extremely long and the acting wasn't as good as I thought it would be. The green screens were pretty terrible too.
The plot was pretty good though, and it was extremely suspenseful. It definitely fucks with your mind. Plus the old ladies sitting next to me who were freaking the fuck out and making comments the whole time made it a little more enjoyable
I would recommend it, but go to a matinee so it's cheaper.

  19. yes! scorcese outdid himself.

you have to kind of forget leonardo di caprios complete acting history though, he's come a long way from titanic.
