  1. I ask the gurus to take a peak and let me know if I am close. I think I am so I started to flush. I only have the one plant. It’s orange romulawi a Sativa hybrid. Started late to keep her smallish. Been in flower a little over two months I think, but this is only the third time I have grown. I use a butterfly cage and grow outdoors and still manage to get a few pests. I hate bugs and will prolly wash this crop for my first time washing buds .... upload_2020-10-29_9-43-18.jpeg

  2. Nice buds, how do the trichomes look? I would say give them more time

  3. Btw I am experimenting with defoliation of some of the leaves now that I am getting towards the end and pinching a couple of stems as well. Trying some stress tactics...figure it can’t hurt too much at this point. I only make tea so if I lower the potency I will just add more...

  4. Maybe ten percent amber

  5. Is this bud rot? This is where is plucked a leaf or two last week wondering if I made a wound that led to rot...

  6. That’s a shame! Nice looking buds.

  7. People get hung up on the Amber thing, but what you're really going for is cloudy.

You will usually have a mix of clear cloudy and eventually Amber. The key is to get it with as many cloudy as possible. If you only see a couple clear and you don't have any amber it's ready. If you see a few amber, but most are still clear and just a few cloudy it's not ready.

You also have to pay really close attention, because when they go from cloudy to amber they actually start to get a little clear and shiny again sometimes. Sometimes they will be clear with just a little dot of amber in it.
