I've got two baby plants, that started out healthy looking, now one has turned completely yellow, and the other one is just starting to turn yellow. I'm using a hydroponics system. The food I'm using is Organic Choice Miracle Grow. It says to use half a tablespoon of food per 6 cups, so I'm using a full tablespoon for 12 cups. Unfortunately, I can't take pictures as I have nothing to take them with. Any sort of help would be greatly appreciated. I'm thinking it's burn, if so, what can I do about it? Thanks.
Is this what you're using? Miracle-Gro Organic Choice All Purpose Plant Food Concentrate - Scotts Miracle-Gro It says to use 1/2 tsp per 6 cups, not 1/2 TBS per 6 cups. And those directions are for soil, not hydro. also, the NPK is 8-0-0. that's not good. plants need P & K, too. Get some proper hydro nutes.
I must have typed it wrong. I made this post for my friend, he was mumbling the measurments while i typed it, im sure he's getting them right. Any idea where to get proper hydro nutrients? Also, I dont think that's it. His bottle was a burnt orange color, not white.
Yeah, i'm at his house now and that's the same stuff. Different bottle, but it's still 8-0-0. He wasn't aware. We're looking for hydro nutes online, hopefully we can get some ordered tonight. We found a seed in some Durban Cheese buds, saving it for when we get proper nutes. What is flushing?
