  1. on my flowering plant the lower leaves are yellowing and falling off. the plant is in its 4th or 5th week of flower. is this normal? sorry no pics right now

  2. From what Ive read - Yes its normal. The buds are litteraly sucking the life out of the leaves - Its a good thing:)

  3. thats what i was thinking. but i wanted to be sure.

    Thanks dude

  4. Could be lack of Nitrogen. That's my guess.

Many people switch to a high P number fert during flowering. Over time the plant will run low on N. When the leaves begin to yellow, try increasing the amount of nitrogen your plant gets.

My plants are doing this (leaves yellowing then eventually turning brown and falling off), it's no big deal. Try to remove the leaves before they get too brown. Dead leaves are a great place for mould to grow...and dead leaves tend to pull into the flowers as they shrivel...this can cause little mouldy brown spots to form in your flowers - bad news

  5. Keep doing what you're doing...perfectly normal.
