Yellowing/Dimpling

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by NelloNugs, Jul 4, 2019.

  1. Hey guys, first time grower here. So my Blackberry Kush seedlings sprouted on the 21st of June and have been growing steady since. I was getting very excited watching my girls grow, taking care to not overwater, nor was I feeding any nutes at this stage.

Starting yesterday, (7/3) I noticed slight dimpling and tip yellowing on the first set of leaves, not the cotyledons but the single pointers. I am using a 600w Blurple that obviously isn't a true 600w pull, so I thought MAYBE it was light stress, so I raised the light substantially and was going to check back after work.

After returning from work, the "dimples" have subsequently started to yellow.

I'm potted in Happy frog and have been watering with distilled non-PH'd water every other to every 2 days depending on soil moistness. No nutes yet as I'm waiting until the fourth node to start using grow big/big bloom, temperatures usually sit 68-72 and RH is never above 76. 6" clip on fan for circulation with a passive exhaust.

I have no clue as to what's causing the issue as I have not used nutes at this point, and from what I've read, I do not need to PH in happy frog until I stary using my ferts. Any help/advice would be crucial, and I'm sorry about my newbie problem. PSX_20190704_073737.jpg PSX_20190704_073912.jpg PSX_20190704_073823.jpg

  2. Looks like the leaves got water on them and were burned a bit. They look fine, no worries

  3. Thank you so much! Right now im using a pressure mister to water so there's usually some foliar watering happening. Should I keep the light heighth a little higher due to this?

  4. If you want to continue watering like that then do it just before lights out otherwise just water the soil. If you put the lights too high you will get too much stretch.

  5. Okay update.

There seems to be very slight tip yellowing on higher up leaves one of the girls.

As well as a serration in the single point leaf. Could this be a bug issue? I didnt want to spray yet if i dont have to. Ill be using a bottle of maggies farm 3in1 organic mit/pest/fungicide. 20190707_072512.jpg 20190707_072444.jpg
