Yellow spots

  1. Anyone know what is the problem with these 2 week old plants? They are in organic soil at the bottom of the root pots super soil mix from subcool) and base mix at the top.
The temperature when lights on is 28 degrees and when lights off is 14 degrees.
    They are under 9 x 23w CFL. 6 x 6500k and 3 x 2700k

  2. It's called 'nitrification' and eventually you can touch these parts of the leaves and they powder into your fingers. Too hot of a soil on too small of a plant. They are fine though. They get used to the hot soil, and the old shitty leaves will fall away when new ones shoot out. I use a very hot organic soil, I have to transplant my babies a couple of times in their life, so that they don't cook when they are small :)
