Yellow Powders Pls Help

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by Oleksiy, Mar 9, 2022.

  1. Hey all. First time grower here. I have OGKZ strain (4th week flowering) in my tent and i have a problem. I noticed that yellow powders. What are these? If they are bad things what can i do for prevent it? There are 28-30 flowers on the plant. This issue only appears on two of them. I check it every day and there was nothing like that until today. Is there nothing to do to save the plant? Sorry for poor English and thanks for any help. Cheers.

  3. sorry they are in night mode right now. I tried to shoot with phone light. I have to use lenses because they are so small.

  4. The first pic looks like a pollen sac opened up. You might have a hermi on your hands.

  5. If so, what would you recommend I do?

  6. I'd search your buds for more pollen sacs. If there's only a few you can pluck them off, being careful to not pop them.

If it's rampant then you're probably gonna have some seedy weed where it pollinated the pistils. It's not that bad, you'll just have a slightly smaller yield in that bud.

You can also spray the pollen with water and then rub it off. It turns the pollen into a paste which won't pollinate and will be easier to remove.

  7. thank you so much. There are only two for now. I will do a detailed search in daylight. I was afraid I would lose the whole plant. a few people told me to throw the plant away.

  8. If the pollen actually pollenated anything, the worst that could happen is you end up with seedy weed and a lower yield. At 4 weeks into flowering you might as well ride it out.

  9. In the old days all weed was seedy and we still enjoyed it.

  10. Thanks again for your interest. I found a total of 5 nanners on the plant. I carefully plucked them from the plant. The plant looks healthy for now. I keep checking it every day.
