i have four plants inside my grow room and i have noticed that only one of them has small slight yellowish patches on the leaves is this any thing to worry about or may it just be that it was from a different seed... i would post a pic but my camera is crap...

Hey man, i got a couple of my plants about a foot and a half from my 400 wattMH
do u think that might be too close? i left a few of them down about a foot lower jus' be safe...i'll move them up if i need to... what do u think?

  6. HIGH All, it could be from water or solution being dropped on your leaf...when this happens the light magnifies the droplet and then burns the spot.

For us to help you it be better to tell us as much as you can about your grow...lights, soil, Hydro, ferts ect....the more you tell us the more info we have.

DB1st-Timer best way to tell is to put your hand near your plant and after a few mins it does'nt get hot it should be ok. I have a 400 growing too and it's about the same distance.

  7. we thought it was to do with water being dropped on and burning the leaves its growing fine now just one litlle problem my other half sucked half the leaf off when hoovering in there. seems ok now though so it must have been the water and heat..

  8. In My Opinion:

Spots on your leaves could be many things, don't rule out spider mites unless you know for sure. My last three grows have been invaded by them, and by the time you know for sure, it could be to late or near to it. I still got seven oz from seven plants, but the stress to me was probably the hardest; trying to figure out what it was. Especially the ribbing from friends who say I'm to proactive in my plants' care. I wonder what one particular friend would say if I told him my crop was decimated, go find something else. If you do not have a magnifying glass or small lighted microscope, don't rule them out. Check everywhere; yes, even the tops of leaves, that's where mine showed the most, and towards the forming buds

Sounds like very young plants you have; don't worry to much about a little discoloration. Feed when the time comes, in moderation to avoid burning, and water when they need it, not when you think they need it. They make little devices that keep you informed of this, $4.99 or so, and garden store.

    Good Luck

    Hiigel

  9. Post some pictures, might be PH spotting if your ph is way to high, or like they said you might of droped the wrong water on your leaves. Or you might have mites need pictures ASAP!:smoke:
