Good morning! I was hoping someone could give me some knowledge as to what might be happening with some of my outdoor grow. Setup: 3 Indica hybrids in 5 gallon buckets with Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil. I am situated in the PnW. And these sit outdoors. The pH is right, and I’ve been watering them every 3-5 days based on soil moisture and bucket heaviness. 2 of my plants have been getting some yellow leaves, more on the mid-bottom area and some clearly have some brown burnt tips and some have a lot of small brown spots. I am not seeing any sign of mites/bugs. I know it’s impossible to tell me exactly what it is because it could be any number of things, I was just curious if anyone had a good idea on where to start?
Not sure what you mean by your ph is right but in my experience you do not want to ph your water for a soil grow. I had similar issues when I tried although not as bad as yours probably because you water way more in an outdoor grow.
with Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil I always advise adding 30% perlite to the mix for this very reason, you still can as shes still in veg, add even more perlite or clean river sand should you want to add even more nutes while ur at it either spray the white pot dark color or cover with kitchen foil as roots hate light once repotted a light spray of nute is good, 1/4 tsp of tomato's nute to a pint spray bottle add warm water shake and spray 1x per day until recovered good luck
I usually have great success with just fox farm soil, light and water until later into the flowering stage. Do you think the leaf damage is due to lack of nutrients at this point?
