Plant showed no sign of health problems, all the leafs turned pale yellow in ten hours. Tricones are cloudy didn't change anything
Pictures would tell more, if it's late into flower and your in a flush, just giving water, the plant is feeding off the nutes stored in the leaves and this is normal for them to start turning yellow and dying off.
The leafs are pure pale yellow(almost white). should I add N ? I use miracle grow potting soil, been growing for 3 months, could i have use up all nutrients? can I add straight miracle grow ?
If using MG nutes I would suggest starting with 1/4 the amount the package says per gallon of water. So if its 1 scoop per gal start with quarter scoop per gal. MG nutes are super strong if you look at the NPK ratio. For the cost of that crap you can spend a few more bucks and get some decent nutrients.
Looking through the box of nutes I have they average 15 to 30 bucks a bottle, some are alot more, I have a few that are 50 to 100 a bottle also. But yet to do the more expensive ones due to being newer at growing. Didnt want to screw something up and have 100s down the drain in nutes.
I was thinking about going that route, but until now never had a problem, but maybe this plant requires more nutrients. I was of afraid of mixing my own nutrients because of the all the stories of people burning up their plants. I guess i'll look into mixing own. do you have any suggestion of a good info site to learn from? Thanks
Mixing nutes as in organics? I use stuff like Iguana Juice, Kushie Kush. And some others, they are liquids that are just added to water. Have a few different pellets and powders but those you make a so called tea with then water. More or less let them soak in the water, stirring occasionally to help them break down in the water or some crap, have not used them due to many posts of the plants getting burnt or locked out.
If it's what ya got then use it, I've used MG Bloom liquid many times, just have to mix 25ml per 3.5gal water. Any more and I've ended up with nute lockout and had to flush for a bit to fix that.
But also pictures say more then you could put into words. How old is plant? Is it in veg or flower? If in flower is it ready to be chopped? You mentioned tricomes being cloudy, is it time already? Of its 3 months into flower that's 12 weeks and to me that's a long flower for most strains these days.
Right now I'm just about week 8 and one of mine is just at the 50% cloudy mark, though looking lastnight I'm now seeing purple showing in the balls of tricomes. Yet to get a picture of it but it is there.
