yard soil?

    I was just wondering if anyone in here has ever gotten soil from say, their backyard, and had it work out in the end, I mean, I know I should just buy soil, but I wouldnt mind trying soil from the yard...and yes, i am aware of the parasites and such, but thats not definate, is it?

    I've heard of baking your soil in the oven for an hour @ 350 degrees to clean out parasites and such! So I would say go for it man what can it hurt! Lose a seed or two if it doen't!

    I wouldnt bake my soil i did it once when i was a noob and it turned out that it dries up rock hard fast.

    you must have had clay in your soil or sumthin..
