As usual, there are more problems. My wireless router is working, my laptop is connected, and the ether cable is plugged in. What now? I've been trying for hours and this is getting on my nerves. I'm about to throw this laptop through a window. I have windows 7, and an ether cord. Is it not the right cord? I heard I need a crossover cord or something. I need someone to walk me through a step by step and try to figure out why it's not connecting.
I'm not familiar with ICS, but I'm connecting my 360 to my laptop via ether cable. It's the cable with both ends the same, my friend told me that I would need a crossover ether cable that doesn't have all of the same color wires. I've gone to connections and clicked allow to share, and pretty much followed all directions step by step.
