I'm an amateur when it comes to weed, I just started smoking like 2/3 months ago so I'm not sure about prices and all that good stuff. So this is the problem. The first time I bought from my dealer i bought a mid grade quarter for $35 If a nick is $5 and a dime is $10 why the hell is a quarter $35? Anyways I've upgraded to high quality Kush and ill never go back to cheap shit again but now that i'm buying high quality i'm spending $50 for half a quarter. WTF? Is that normal? My "hobby" is costing too much money I may need to break it off with my dealer and find a new one. Maybe mine is taking advantage of my lack of experience and charging me too much. Is that the case or is that the going price for weed?
typically an 1/8 (or half a quarter) of dank costs anywhere from 50-60$ depending on who or where you get it.
Eh. I would get charged around $100 for a quarter around here. Also, if you're buying a quarter it should be a far more significant amount of weed that a nickel or dime bag... so, that's why the price is higher. I'm not sure what the normal weight is for nickel/dime bags, I think it's just reference to the money? So buying a quarter, you're not actually buying $25 worth, but a quarter of an ounce (7 grams).
Ok so I'm not getting ripped off. I did hook my dealer up with homemade special banana bread which was A+ and he gave me an 1/8 of kush in return. Maybe I'll butter him up. I am a domestic Goddess! Sent from my SPH-L720 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
A nick is always a $5 bag of weed. The amount given to you in a nick will vary, depending on your area. It's pretty much how ever much your dealer wants to give you for 5 bucks. Same goes for a dime bag, always $10. I suggest always buying by weight rather than money amount
You're not being ripped off, standard prices. In my state, typically if it's swag, $5 gets you 1 gram, $10 gets you 2 grams, $20 gets you 3.5g (1/8th), a quarter can go anywhere from $30-$50, but I'd never pay $50. Dank goes for $60 an eighth, sometimes cheaper. My advice, don't have just one dealer, give yourself options.
I remember in another thread, you mentioned spending whatever amount of money on your "new hobby" as you so colorfully put it. Now you mention how expensive it is. Buy in bulk. There's a reason that stores like Costco exist, because it's cheaper for most everything to be sold/bought in bulk. This includes cannabis.I've never even heard of a nickle bag. What is that? A bowls worth? 1 and a half bowls worth? If I was a dealer, I would not be happy about wasting my time on such a minute amount. Either a gram or higher or GTFO (in my opinion). Some people hate dealing grams too.Anyway, your prices sound about right on. That's how it is here too. Buy bigger (and better) weed and you can smoke less. Also, vapes and edibles are your friends for conservation of weed.Sent from my oldass iPhone 4.New MTG player
Sound like my old dealer. He would only sell an 8th or more. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I897 using Grasscity Forum mobile app

I appreciate weed in all amounts but if I did sell, I wouldn't be happy if someone wanted a "nickel bag". That screws everyone up in terms of inventory control. Whole numbers people! I think I would fuck my dealer if I was a girl.. Holy shit brain blast. I need to find a female dealer...brb
A nick and a dime do not equal a quarter...A quarter is two 1/8ths splat together in one bag. Of course it would also be a nick and two dimes, because a nick and a dime isn't even a dub. Still gots my shit.

And I don't buy less than an 1/8 each time. I bought a dime once it was just enough to make a nice little blunt. I don't smoke often so I don't want me weed to get old so I just buy in small amounts.
