I was going struggling to go to sleep, and focusing on the images in my minds eye for art inspiration, when I started moving through this tunnel. I've drawn a sketch.

I tried to move through the tunnel to come out at the end, but it was more like seeing a 2-3 second loop of moving through the tunnel, I wasn't actually getting any closer.

My thinking voice kept trying to interrupt, but I wouldn't let it get more than a word in.

My eyes, or my eyelids, I'm not quite sure which, were twitching like mad, and the image was crazy.

And when I did see 'past' the tunnel, there were even more awesome patterns. I was looking for drawing inspiration, and I seriously found a way to get it.

I know you can get crazy images in your head before going to sleep, but I seriously think once you've seen more elaborate patterns with weed, you're able to tap into them without it.

EDIT: I know this drawing isn't great, it's just an aid to my story, which is more about the experience than the drawing

  2. hmm that's crazy dude. i definitely have had some crazy closed eye visuals before..whether there was lsd in my system or not :metal: you should try to put up some better sketches of these thangss. something everyone should do :O

  3. I have had them before too, it's pretty cool, almost like your flying through the tunnel really fast.

  4. I have visual snow and I see patterns like this one when I close my eyes listening to music. When im high its 10x as intense. It is the only good thing about having visual snow:p.

  5. You could be coming down with the flu or something. This happened to me when i was younger, i closed my eyes and i started seeing dragon ball z characters fighting and i opened my eyes and i felt really dizzy then i ran and threw up. Lol

  6. Hypnagogia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hypnagogia is a state in which one is transitioning from wakefulness to sleep.

I've had a few experiences with it in my lucid dreams attempts and I must say that its a pretty exhilarating experience altogether.

  7. ^Sleep paralysis is not fun though.

The first time I experienced it was probably one of the scariest moments of my life.

  8. You guys are so on the ball. I was trying WILD last night (Waking Induced Lucid Dreaming)
and woke up sneezing. I have a cold, and I hardly ever get ill.

  9. I once induced it, and was vibrating, with it getting more and more intense, and louder and louder.

No where near as scary as some people's experiences though.

  10. Sleep paralysis is the shit mane! That's probably one of the best parts of inducing a lucid dream through the WILD.

I used to be frightening by SP too until I found out what it was and got into lucid dreams. Ever since then, I've learned to enjoy the rushing sensation and visuals from hypnagogia if you can get past the horrendous screaming and loud noises. lol

I used to have crazy scary experiences with SP: ghosts, spirits, demons, undead, aliens (the worst) and shit like that.

The vibrations and rushing sensation from SP takes some getting used to but once you do, it's the shizznay.

Sweet man. Yeah, I used to always experience hypnagia when I tried to WILD; wild used to be my specialty.

But I rarely WILD anymore, I try to have DILDs now. I think DILDs are much more stable and vivid for the most part. It seemed like I didn't have total control in my WILDs ya know?

  11. The rushing sensation is my favourite. I once felt myself falling, and sliding, and then I slid off my bed.
Then I woke up in my bed, back to the falling sensation, and I spun accross the room.
Then I floated to the ceiling, was spinning on the ceiling, etc. And then finally I woke into a proper WILD after many false awakenings.

And I know what you mean about not having total control in WILDs. Sometimes, especially if they're early in the night, I've even felt that the dream was of second rate quality, almost not a dream.

I've wanted to experience scary aliens etc during sleep paralysis, but it just hasn't happened.

  12. Congrats, you created how God does only on a finite level.

  13. Hell yeah man, the rushing sensation I get is almost exactly like yours. It always starts with me falling through my bed and then before I know it, I'm catapolted through my ceiling or walls into the dream; it's so intense. That's actually one of the best parts of WILDs.

I've actually entered a WILD in a similar hypnagogic hallucination similar to my avatar (that's why I chose it). Once the SP kicked in, I felt the rushing sensation and then I was being "transferred" through endless layers of blue geometrical patterns that looked exactly like the patterns in my avy. Then I floated down through the patterns into a living room in a house that was located in space neighborhood/city. That was a crazy fun lucid dream with an equally crazy hypnagogia episode.:D

Yeah, that's the one reason I started trying to have more DILDs and DIELDs than WILDs. Sometimes it feels like I just don't have complete control of my dream body, like I can still feel my actual body lying down in bed and that really bugs me.

But trust me dude, you don't want to experience the aliens I did in SP. That was seriously one of the scariest moments of my life man. I was laying down on my side unable to move, and then I looked over my shoulder and I just knew there were aliens in my room and that I was about to see one. Sure enough, I saw a tall, slender, redish/brownish fleshed alien appear (similar looking to the aliens from 'signs'), with his/her big shiny black eyes glaring at me, reach out to touch me. I managed to utter a little scream lol and woke myself up. But it was freaky as hell because it was so realistic.

EDIT: that's a good ass drawling btw.

  14. I had the same kind of expierence, I just didnt get as far that I could draw anything specific.
But in rare occasions my eyelids or eyes also twitch like crazy and I get this weird feeling which is usually mixed with some kind of visual thing.
