wtf is wrong with my weed

well if it smells like windex, seems that it was sprayed with chemicals imo.

 

I think it still has some of the chemicals in it left over from growing it.

Probably wasn't flushed correctly.

 

If it smells like windex then there's definitely something wrong with it.
I wouldn't worry too much about what it is exactly, but I definitely wouldn't smoke anything smelling like windex

 

Well it could be that it wasn't flushed properly.
Or it could be the Essence of Troll eminating from you in the case of a troll forum.

that windex smell is ammonia. it means your weed is moldy

My guess is a case of
*Lack of flushing
*Inproper drying
*No curing
*Inproper storage since

Not a LOT you can to to actually get it "fixed" when lack of flushing comes into play...all I could recommend is perhaps cutting it up, airing it out, then doing a bit of a jar cure.

Still though, the weed came from a careless place...

 

Most likely cause was improper flushing like alot of people have said, or it could be what it was 'shipped' in (mine sometimes smells like straight up coffee beans because thats what my exotic strains are shipped in lol) Smoke a little TINY bit like enough so that you will get the smallest buzz possible, 2 or 3 hits. And see how you feel in the next few hours, make sure there is something in your stomach in case it is sprayed with chemicals so that if you have to throw up theres something other than stomach acid to throw up.

 

Just man up and smoke it, whats the worst that could happen? Its not crack, you'll be fine.

 

That shit is definitely not straight. Do not smoke it at all, it's probably fucked with chemically or something. Just throw it out and get some new shit

I don't know if it's just me but I'm finding the frequency of posts like this in here pretty disturbing...a person says they've got a legitimate concern and then they get belittled and/or emasculated on account of coming here, a place where they assume they can get good advice?

Besides, who cares if they complain - they have a right to.
I have HUGE issues with the poor quality of weed and unethical practices by dealers and commercial growers and I won't let anyone just tell me to get over it - it's bullshit, I have my expectations and when they're not met, I will say what I want about it...
So what if someone's actually concerned about what they put into their body, when you don't seem to be?
Everyone's gotta be the same as you now?

Expecting SOME kind of basic quality and standards isn't a problem.

 

Dude... It's supposedly dank.... Just smoke the fuck outta it.... so the influence can make you its bitch.... which is what we all really want.

 

It was poorly harvested. If there's no noticeable mold, you can smoke it. It will probably be a bit harsh and it might pop and crackle as it burns. The hay smell is a good indication it wasn't cured properly and any popping or crackling is a sign the nutrients weren't flushed before harvest.

EDIT - There are quite a few strains that have a pine, paint, turpentine, or similar odor to them.
