WTF is up with Jesus

Discussion in 'Religion, Beliefs and Spirituality' started by 420Sosa, Dec 24, 2010.

  1. Why is the man so revered and not just by Christians but by everyone,He's either a prophet or messiah, was he even real or was he just the template for the perfect person in the world?

  2. I believe he was a real person, but that's all I'll say.

  3. There's just so much positive energy surrounding him and his teachings. It doesn't matter whether he existed or not. If "he" can help to create positivity in this world, then great.

  4. I believe 'Christ' is a state of mind and Jesus, real or not, stands as an example of one who is of Christ-hood.

There's lots of Christ's in history, Christianity just kind of..forced its way to the top of popularity.

  5. i gotta say template for the perfect person, not necessarily with all the magic obviously, but like a his the hero in the story and he teaches moral lessons with each chapter.

    kinda like Disney channel :D

  6. jesus was either god or a lunatic.

  7. (OP always takes credit for my posts or theads)

  8. He was a hippie. He used cannabis oil on himself and to heal other people, the title "Christ" means the anointed, and to get that title, one would have to be smothered with a very potent cannabis oil, I forgot the name of it though. I heard he wasn't even messiah at first, just a normal guy and that he learned how to heal with the cannabis oil from rouge priests (because it was illegal to use that then).

He loved all, didn't matter who they were, even if they weren't "saved", broke the law for good, and he didn't force people to see things his way.

But yeah, most Christians are in NO way Christ-like, though I've met a few that are.

  9. agreed.
    gnostic christianity in short.

  10. Jesus had some very profound things to say but coming back from the dead and appearing to hundreds of people afterwards was a pretty good way to start the ball rolling.

The Romans would have given anything to present the dead body of Jesus for display in order to crush the movement.

    God says:

" the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away;" Job 1:21

    Jesus says:

" I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again." Jhn 10:18

Jesus said once again that he IS God.

  11. Jesus was no doubt real. Though if he was divine or not, I dont think so. My dad has looked into this and he claims Jesus says he is the literal Son of God the divine. Some say he has shown powers even as a kid, but honestly I think its all bs added in centuries later.

Maxrule, thats an incredibly loose connection to him claiming divinity.

  12. First of all; only God can do that. Only God can give life and take it away; truly take it away. No human can give his own life and take it up again but God almighty can.

Besides it is only one example of many.

If you want more than that I'm glad to provide it. :D

Look at the OT, centuries before Jesus was born. Many prophets declared that God would come to the temple.

Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.

    Mal 3:1

For, behold, the LORD cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.

    Mic 1:3
    \t

Just a couple verses there but I could go on; the Lord is coming down and coming to the temple for the forgiveness of sins. Of course Jesus did.

And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.

    Mat 21:14

Back in the OT; written by King David long before Jesus.

\tI will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

    Psa 2:7\t

The Son is not King David...

Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

    Psa 2:12\t

Jesus went around forgiving sins; only God can forgive sins. There are certain blasphemous churches that claim the power to forgive sins but they are not God; Jesus is.

\tI and my Father are one. Jhn 10:30

The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.

    Jhn 10:33

  13. Well so what would be the point in God exercising that power? certainly not like a punishment?

because if he was to truly take a life away that'd be extremely easier on the person...to have life truly taken away as im understanding what you're saying would be to lose knowledge of you ever existing basically right? so why would he ever completely take a life away because it'd be like doing nothing... torture to me seems like it has the potential to be the worst of the worst but id imagine god would be a little above that.

and you say no human can give his own life as if a human has ever known a time that they werent...you can imagine one...like 1800 hundreds if you still...but I didnt know that time because I've only known the time that I've been...which as far back and forward as I can see always has been and always will be

as far as I know I did do this... I just became...just like everything else in the cosmos

now I'm with you on most of what you're saying I do like it...I just wonder what you mean

because basically you're saying if God was to never exist or never create us that we would of never been...like how now in the present moment everybody reading this is alive

well had we never been wouldn't that of been even easier and more peaceful than this?

so I think if God is responsible for us coming to be he's happy enough that this was something he was able to do...and it gets left at that...there is no take backs or feelings of needed to be owed something

because hes above these kinds of thoughts

  15. Well because he was a great magician. Way better than that phony David Blaine or any other charlatan magician out there.

  16. That would be the ChristoPagan Jesus that you often see with the sun behind his head and throwing an Illuminati hand sign. He was created to deceive people in to honoring the sun gods of old with out realizing it.

Yeshua IS real. Many people outside the Bible wrote of him.

The only reason that a genuine Luciferian global government is forming is so that Yeshua can come back in power and glory and knock it down.

  17. Why would they go to so much trouble so they could lose?

  18. They think that they are going to win.

The Humanist/Luciferians who run the planet believe that mankind is evolving in to a state of godhood and they are willing to help push it along with all sorts of evil and dastardly deceptions such as genetically modified food; chem-trails, crop circles, 2012, global warming and on and on.

The reason that most people don't know about this is because most people are happy to be ignorant. How many people do you know that actually vist the UN website and read it?

Most people think that global governance is a conspiracy theory so they ignore it.

The Watchman Expositor: Alice Bailey Profile

There are "trans-national" entities who are working on global solutions to perceived global problems.

Its not a theory. It comes from hell.

  19. They have the major upper-hand. Most people wouldn't be bothered into doing anything.

The soldiers would probably blindly follow their orders anyways
