wtf is up with drymouth?

Discussion in 'Experienced Cannabis Enthusiasts' started by GhengisChron, Mar 18, 2008.

  1. people are telling me that its the butane from your lighter that causes drymouth.

this makes no sense to me. doesn't smoking weed in general give you drymouth? i mean we can all admit to having had drymouth off a blunt or joint at one point.

so wtf is up with drymouth? what causes it?

  2. Its definately not the butane, pretty sure about that.

I think smoke effects the saliva that is produced, maybe the smoke dries it out a little bit.
When you drink something right away it usually complately eliminates it.

  3. butane just has a nasty taste, its the weed that causes cotton mouth

alot of people use hakkos and phedors so they can enjoy the taste of the mj with out the taste of gas

  4. Def not the lighter. It's just an effect of smoking.
At least it gives me an excuse to buy a red bull:p
