Wtf is this purp on my weed

  1. Why is my 2week old "auto blueberry x sweet tooth" have purple growing in the center ??

  2. Has it been cold? they can purple from the cold, some folks do that on purpose in flower.

  3. Yes it's quite cold at night.
    Would it affect the plant any further than turning it purple??
     
  4. Would slow down growth worse than ideal but shouldn't be that bad how cold are we talking

  5. Deep South weather. Drops to 50 at night to 80 at day
     
  6. Yea then you need to get a heater or something in grow room don't really want it going below 65 f

  8. @Garden_viking is right, your soil does look wet. However, that purpling def looks like pigment from the cold. I think that @Garden_viking is concerned about damping off, but damping off looks more gray than purple. It`s quite common in over-watered seedlings.

    If you can find a way to insulate your roots from the temp drop, (by packing some mulch around your outdoor container) or something for a few weeks while the temps climb, might help combat the slowed growth rate.
     
  9. Big pot small plant bro don't soak it only water around bottom of plant and when the inside of soil is dry.
