WTF am i doing?? 11 clones 2nd grow

  1. I need some help. Thought i knew somewhat what i was doing.. now i realize im clueless and only hurting my plants. I was attempting lst and planning on using a trellis net. I topped them a couple weeks ago, and I defoliated way too much the week after when i shouldnt have touched them. Im stressing them out big time...and dont feel like im doing lst right. Ive been using general hydroponics nutrients (flora micro, flora grow, and flora bloom) i thought i was using the feeding chart correctly, but several leaves are showing nutrient imbalances or something. And the leaves are growing back deformed (3 fingers, not symmetrical) 20190829_192922.jpg 20190902_181812.jpg 20190829_192911.jpg 20190903_184654.jpg 20190903_184646.jpg 20190903_184705.jpg 20190903_184659.jpg 20190903_184636.jpg 20190903_184632.jpg 20190828_191627.jpg 20190827_220034.jpg 20190827_220042.jpg Im gona just try to let them recover, but i need some direction as to how to proceed.. i am overwhelmed with 11 plants that i feel i am killing. They are in 1 gallon pots right now, in a 4X4x8 tent. Ive been trying to learn as much as i can on different techniques and everything, but there is so much info and different opinions that sometimes its hard to sort out. Any advice is appreciated. 20190829_192922.jpg

  2. They need bigger pots in my opinion and looks like ya over did the nutes a tad but not horrible also if u dont know about soil and water ph if its not between 5.5 and 7 ur gonna run into the same looking defiency but worse. I'm having hard time making sure all waters and feeds stay in between 5.5 and 7 but mines recovering also i hear cal mag is a must have and that's what ima try to my outdoor girl next

  3. Use more LITFA. ( leave it the fuck alone )

Plants work hard to built something out of nothing then you came along and ripped all it's hard work off.
Use catch and release rather then cutting.
Use pipe cleaners or wire or string and tie the upper most top below the rest for a couple of days. This will divert auxins to the highest top and it gets the growth. When it gets to tall bend it over and let the next highest top get the growth spurt.

This gives the same effects without removing plant material and slowing the plant. Yours will be stalled for a couple of weeks or more judging by the look of them. Each leaf is a solar panel and provides energy to the plant.

  4. Shouldn't need nutes yet. Maybe just rooting hormone or fulvic/humic acid at most. Possibly a bit of superthrive if you have on hand.
They shouldn't need nutes for first couple weeks of veg IME unless you run coco or another hydro variant.

@Dbovay420 was right with the ph tho. If water is alkaline or way too acidic, it will show just like a deficiency.

  5. What BrassNwood said, but also -- there's not a lot of need to attempt LST with so many plants in such a small space. You could pretty much SOG those plants in that space. Eleven plants in a 4x4 space will get pretty crowded after a while.

  10. That is probably the neem oil ive been using for fungus gnats.

  11. They are in coco perlite mix. The ph of the water and nutrients has been between 5.5 and 6.5

  12. Thats what i was wondering about.. like i cant let them get too big before flower or i will run out of space.. i was planning on putting them in 3 gallon pots but idk if i will have enough room

  13. Ima nube and also used neem oil for first time sprayed her down while sun was out still learned real quick to wait till sun goes down lmao she was pissed off for about a week she picked up this ph problem 2 weeks ago now I'm hoping after I order cal mag off Amazon and get it to her asap she will perk up alot more the buds seem to be growing and stacking well still but I'm cutting dead tipped leaves on the daily so I'm hoping I'm going about things correctly

  14. I've got 4 plants in a 2x3x6. All 1 gal fab pots. There is barely any room in there after flipping to flower.

If running SOG in the space you have, I wouldn't go any bigger pot if you plan to keep them all.

(Don't hate on pic, mistakes were made lol)

  15. Nice only 1 gal pots? I plan on getting a grow tent setup soon and start some indoors atleast 4 plants at a time

  16. There's room for eleven three gallon pots in a 4x4... duuno about the plants though. ;) I think for SOG one gallon pots are more common but I'm not speaking from personal experience.

Haha, didn't read Canibis's post til after I posted this. What Canibis said. :p

  17. fungus gnats attacking your root system can cause all sorts of issues , stunted growth being one but ive also seen odd growth while under attack from fungus gnats . Also I used mosquito dunks instead of neem oil as I don't like neem oil it seems to have a residual after taste Imo .
