WSWS perpetual grow

  1. Skimming through it there is a lot of change and I’d like to think improvements lol
My current grow is the most exciting so far. Can’t wait to see what I yield.

  2. Yeah what changes would you look at making man??

  3. I want to switch to megacrop for my nutes.
Tired of mixing a bunch of things.
Might be switching to a 4x8 gorilla grow tent.
As far as growing I feel like I am getting things fine tuned now. For max yield in a tent I feel like scrog is it. I could better my air flow in the veg closet and little tent. Airflow in my 5x5 is pretty good I think. Next grow I’ll keep my ppms a little lower. Had them up to 1000-1100 and seen slight tip burn. Need to fine tune my light distance. Also need to defoliat a little more.
A flood and drain system would be nice to setup. I just have black plant saucers under my fabric pots. Maybe eventually try air pots and see if I like those better.

  4. Yeah I feel you mixing a bunch of things can be a pain, I used to mix all my nutes in 5 liter bottles, and use a small measuring cap. Now I have a 50 Liter reservoir and a 100ml beaker, makes mixing nutes much easier I only do it once a week takes ten minutes.

Yeah a flood and drain system, or even pots sitting in a tray with slight gradient with a basin/bucket for run of makes things much easier. My first grow like that and I cant believe I had saucers under my pots for so many years haha.

Your grows look good man but anything you can do to take time out of feeding and cleaning up run of is a big plus. My first grow with airpots and the plants look really happy, I like the fabric pots but just thought they were to messy after one use.

I defoliated more this grow Im hoping it will really help, my last grow was like a jungle man was not good haha

  5. Never heard of mega crop, is it the one feed for veg through to flower?

  6. Man at first I didn’t even have saucers under them. Don’t know what the fuck I was thinking lol. Had to keep using the shop vac. With the blumat system and saucers it works fine but a flood system like you have sounds best.
I could add some more lighting to help with the spread if I was getting really picky lol.
Also with this grow I had to improvise with plant count. They didn’t grow as big as I was hoping so I threw in some extra plants to fill the scrogs.
I could have removed more of the little shoot off branches cause some of the plants got too bushy so there is some buds not getting as much light as they should.
A better job of tucking would have helped also.

  7. Yes. It’s a cannabis specific nute. Just change how many grams you’re feeding depending on the stage of growth. I plan to eventually switch to that and keep using if it does well. Also using Bennie tea brewed with og biowar root and foliar packs and molasses.

  8. Hahaha I know I didnt on my first grow man, and had no shop vac I used to clean up the run of with a sponge and buckets, I loved growing but hated spending time doing stupid jobs like that haha. Flood tray, drippers, basin and reservoir work perfect for me, I need to just get a flood timer now to automate that. Id eventually like to get a pH controller and a larger reservoir say 100 liters?

Yeah training is something I think can always be improved on, and it takes time and frequent checking on the plants for best results. I was sick of so many grows with spindly shoots below the canopy that done nothing but waste energy.

What lights are you using now man? Sorry if you posted that already I havent had chance to go through all this thread yet, but Ill get around to it some very nice pics and plants :)

I personally love scrogging man Ive been doing it for years. If you do scrog I suggest trying to get individual scrog screens for each pot. Makes it possible to lift out plants if you want to trim them, flush them, or even train them as well as possible especially in the harder to reach places

  12. Thanks! After Sunday till the 28th I have to rely on my nephew to take care of the ladies. I am hoping that will be the perfect time to start chopping and won’t be too long.

  13. I used to get nervous going away but my bro has been trained into my plant sitter now, he does quite a good job to be fair haha. Well I hope to see some nice bud porn when you are back haha

  14. Looking forward too the end what you harvest!!!!

  15. Yo man what you make of the blumat system? I might get one for watering my chili and tomato plants out in the garden, is it good ??

  16. For that it’d be awesome. It works ok with nutes but every now and then you get one that gets stuck open and drains the system. I think it’s cause I used too much perlite so it messes with the system. Overall I like it tho.

  17. Im thinking like a 100 liter reservoir, any maybe 8 plants in 10 liter pots? Getting an airstone in the tank and just use some tomato feed, nothing that will clog the tank. If I occasionally want to add some fish paste or seaweed, stuff that could clog lines, I can just use a watering can.

Im thinking I should order some spare irrigation heads/drippers? Incase i get some that stay open on me.

    Thanks man
