  1. I was wondering if anyone has the power to change rep around?

    http://forum.grasscity.com/showthread.php?t=64326

Skittles tried giving me ++rep and it came to me as Negative. i was wondering if there was anyway it could be changed around? i posted the thread up there so someone doesnt think im lying, i could even take a screen shot of my CP...

not that is REALLY matters, i just dont like the red mixed with all the green lol

  2. Good gravy. :p

    I\'ll check it out.

  3. Yeah, he did the same to me i think, well, im pretty sure it was skittles, it said \"+rep\" and it was negative, and it was right after I gave him a rep, so I expect that it was him.

  4. Is this a conspriacy, guys????

  5. It wasn\'t skittles, ruggles.

  6. Damn, well all I know is that it happened to me as well, but it only took away 2 rep points, so it\'s no biggy.

  7. lol whats going on in here?

  8. !!! thank you! :) got mostly green again! haha.

  9. I didn\'t even notice this, but I got a rep like 3 hours ago that says \"lets compensate for that mistake\" so it\'s all taken care of.

  10. Well, that was skittles. LOL! :p

I think everyone should be straight now. :)

  11. rep blows...

can we atleast be able to see who gives us the rep like the moderators can? i don\'t see why we shouldn\'t be able to...

  12. If the giver of rep chooses to let you know who they are, then the answer is yes.

  13. why is being able to tell who it comes from so special that only admins have the \"privilege\" of having it? i don\'t get it...

  14. Anonymity is the factor here. If someone doesn\'t want you to know who gave you the rep then they should have to right to do so. That is why some signify it and some don\'t.

  15. anonymity can be kept by NOT GIVING IT...

i wan\'t to be able to see who leaves me those nice little notes like \"fuck you\" and whatnot that i get every now and then...

  16. Well I don\'t see what you are trying to say, you want to see the people who give you reps, but you say anonymity can be kept by not giving it? Well if you had the power to see who gave you the reps then all anonymity is lost. Why don\'t you just go into the thread and ask who gave it to you? I don\'t know man, I don\'t really seem to mind, most people usually leave names.

  17. Why would an admin give me bad rep and not say why im getting bad rep? or say who it was.. atleast tell me why... I can only assume it was an admin of some sort considering I got bad rep from a thread that was pulled, and the rep was given like 3 hours after it was pulled....

  18. Well, I can tell you it wasn\'t me. I don\'t think I\'ve ever given you bad rep. I usually leave me name, anyway.

  19. I always leave my name. PM me, Butter, with the info on the thread and what it was about so I can try to decipher why it was given. Please don\'t put it in this thread.

All rep threads, no matter why they start, end up to this point where people are complaining about it. BLAH! I\'m over it.

This is the deal with the rep, gang:
Either we deal with the fact that we get negative rep or we get rid of the rep. I get negative rep and from the looks of it, most do, at some point. I leave my name on all rep I give...some don\'t, and that\'s their choice. The way the rep\'s set up isn\'t changing. So, either we all deal with it or we rip it out of the boards

    OR

screw ripping it out for a few...

...the ones who are all in an uproar about not being able to know who bad repped them will have their rep disabled altogether. That\'s an easy enough solution.
Ok...so from here on out, those who continue to complain about not being able to see who gave them rep or whatever reason will have their rep disabled. We\'ll just pull you out of the rep loop so you won\'t even have to deal with rep.

    That\'s the solution.
