Soooo I'm feeling pretty down lately and haven't smoked for a while. I've been swamped with school, my internship, and a lot of arguments going on with my friends lately. I have 2 short essays due tomorrow (I'm in community college) and they're not like hugely important and I'm pretty sure the teacher doesn't grade them all that difficultly. I have to basically read 2 articles and write a short essay about my reflection on them. Should I try doing this high? Does anyone have experience with reading/writing high? Thanks everyone.
I hate writing papers high... just feels like your brain works too slow or something, and you lose your train of thought a lot I'd wait until after
For me it helps me a lot, I actually had an essay to write today for my 2pm class, wasn't enough time to smoke so I just wrote it n didn't smoke. To be honest, I wish I did smoke because I'm used to doing that before writing something like this, today I felt something was missing and I was a bit nervous that I wouldn't make it in time. But when I smoke I'm more calm and focused on what I'm doing and I feel more creative. That being said, it could have an opposite effects on you because I know some of my buddies can't even go to class when stoned, so it's really up to you if you h=think if it will help you or not.
Write one paper high, and the other not high lol. If you get a higher grade on the one you wrote high then you found your answer!
I wrote a paper tripping off mushies one time during english in high school. And the next day the teacher held up my paper and said this is the best paper of the entire class. My close friends and I laugh to this day. This teacher also vouched I was completely sober after walking into her class within minutes of drinking two 24 fl oz beers. I have written amazing papers tripping. I'd write more but DOTM and Pandora's Box are removed from this site. And I go to most classes/lectures and do my projects/homeworks/papers/presentations high most of the time.
My experience: For my creative writing module in university, I got reallllly high and wrote a story 'the time I fell down the toilet and entered magic land', I wrote of magical green people who were slaves to trolls who ran the mcdonald's corporation in the land beyond the toilet. When I read that shit in the morning, I was like wtf did I write?!!! I passed because I told the professor that my story was written in a modernist style and my story was actually based on the thoughts of Karl Marx's manifesto/the Marxist theory, incorporating views of how capitalist system and the bourgeoisie are controlling and maintaining the working class.
Never tried to write while tripping, thatd be interesting. I suck at writing while high... I don't write stupid stuff but I don't fully expand on my thoughts and make a lot of spelling/grammar errors.
I think every student would like to learn how to write a quality essay. But I know how difficult it is. I don't like doing it myself since high school. And I was just looking for some help with this assignment. Now when I'm writing my residency statement I'm looking for help again. It is better to entrust such statements to experts, because it must be competently composed. And if the writing skills are weak, it is a risk of writing a failed statement.
Back in the day I did this all the time with all my coursework...got me all the way through grad school with a 4.0....but I smoked all day everyday so it was my normal state of mind, I wouldn't suggest taking on any writing project high if you are not familiar with it....otherwise you will just stare at a blank screen...or when I first started I was always bad for starting everything with...Once upon a time...
I did all of my studying and writing high the last couple years of college. The key was to not get too high, otherwise I couldn’t focus. I did have to just sleep it off a couple times, but mostly it actually helped me stay on task.
Oh how familiar that is dude! I'm sick of this university with my essays, I'm tired of writing them, so often I just hire someone on Upwork or Fiverr to write it for me.
Works great until you read it back and realize half of it is just weird recipes you kept thinkin' of while your head was goin' grocery shoppin'.
