How do you deal with it? I'm in a serious drag right now, I can't seem to find motivation or creativity... bleh. I NEED to write a lot today, like... I need to. Whats your way of relieving writers block and not.
Usually watching some TV or listening to some music does the job. Along with some green What exactly to you write? Poetry, music, screenplays?
Seek out inspiration. Be it through television/movies, music, social interaction, or removing yourself from a social situation and observing (just chilling at a coffee shop or in a park or something,) just don't focus too hard on the task at hand and something will come to you.
Have a beer and smoke a bowl / Joint to the head, listen to my favorite tunes. I'm a musician (Guitar is my main instrument). Music is my life most of the time, and I know the feeling of being "stuck". To "unstuck" myself though I smoke a little, listen to the artists that inspire me and then I usually pick up a guitar and start to work some things out. I'd say in your case, since you are a writer, simply start writing period. There is not such thing as writer's block, write down what is truly bothering you as articulately as you know how...a good way to unblock is to just write on paper, express to yourself before you write ANYTHING that you will get back to it another time.
