WP7 - The future of smartphones?

  1. Hey GC. 7relos here.

As many of you probably already know, Microsoft is attempting to universalize their OS, metro UI. The phones they are coming out with have a very strong chance of dominating or at the least reserving a very special spot in the smartphone market. The simplistic OS requires very little resources and ms creates standard statistics that each hardware manufacturer must have at minimum. Eg 1ghz processor. So basically what I'm asking you guys is; will wp7 get a spot in the smartphone market or will it have a bing/google+ effect, where it may be a good thing but there are already other options such as Android and ios that accomplish the same thing to the same degree of success? I personally believe that wp7 will not dominate anyone, but will become mainstream enough to get the limelight and more attention.

  2. I think Windows is going to keep their business reputation. Windows phones aren't going to gain a lot of popularity because their time has passed. It's been too long and I don't think they can make a comeback besides previous owners or current owners. Even then previous owners might stick to their new OS. Just my opinion.

  3. I got no clue what you guys are saying but I sure love my window phone <3
