I recently inherited this plant. It was just pruned and trimmed and now I want to keep it going strong. I have a basic grow room setup. My main questions are with a plant in this state what is the next step...proper light cycle? It is on 18/6 right now. How often will it bud, and how should I properly trim and prune the buds? Also on another note, the buds were trimmed but not hung and are broken into smaller buds, they are DANK but still quite wet and leafy. I have them hanging up in brown paper bags, is this the right thing to do? if so how long should I keep them this way? If, and when should I trim leaves and put into mason jars to cure? I am new and have LOTS of questions, any help is greatly appreciated as I dont want to loose this plant! The first three pictures are of the plant and the fourth is of one of the buds. Thanks in advance for the help!
put it on 24/7 lighting. that will make sure it reveges. The yield will probably be smaller though. For drying, just keep them hanging, and when the stems snap when u bend them, they're done. Good luck reveging the plant and keep updating seeing as i've never done it.
Depending on the strain it could take weeks to months to be back to full flowering capable. I've seen cases of reveggin where stems grow awkwardly and an odd number of leaves... its really depends on the strain. Sorry Im high if that made any sense.
That plant looks awfully twiggy. I have successfully revegged my first plant, so it can be done. What are you using for light? If it's fluorescent get it really close. Keep the lights on at least 18 hours a day. Once more leaves sprout, start trimming the top off because that is a akwardly shaped plant. Wait until it begins growing again to trim it though. New growth should come out of the bud sites. It really helps to leave on the bottoms of buds, but too late now. Once you have reestablished those branches into a plant, you'll give her 12 hours of light a day and she will flower, this takes on average 8 weeks. Also be careful how much you water it, it's easy to over water and over fertilize a revegging plant because it has a huge root system, but only half the plant.
the upper leaves died but the lower half of the plant seem to be growing. Ill take some pics to show what I mean.
is it just me or is that 2 plants in one pot... i dont think that plant is gonna be living much longer, but i could be wrong ive only grown once. either way its gonna need lots of TLC. good luck man, by the looks of things ur gonna need it
The plant has tons of small buds growin out of everywhere now, but alot of the other leaves are yellowing and looks like their dying. What can I do about this?
